We had been waiting for 10 minutes to get the menu. Just to be clear it wasn't during rush hours. Then i ordered one thing and 40 minutes later i got completely another thing i didn't order. Bread we got was dry and not fresh. Also there was a hair in one of our dishes. They add very little toppings to all of their dishes. Also it had seemed like they forgot about other things i ordered. They came 15minutes later. Drinks came after we ate our meal, so the meal was really dry-ish.Good they came at all. Portions are really really small like it was some gourmet restaurant and yet food wasn't that great. Everything is expensive. I wouldn't reccomend visiting this restaurant to anyone.
Wonderful restaurant in the heart of Borsh beach! We sincerely enjoyed some traditional Albanian food (jufka with chicken) that we were able to pre-order in advance and eat in-restaurant for lunch. The staff was friendly, very professional, and spoke great English. The owner was extremely kind and dropped off free ice cream for everyone at our table for dessert. Would definitely recommend as a must try!
MATTEO in Borsh is a new destination for everything that you have missed from holidays until now. Come and visit us this summer to taste the difference
We spent 11 nights in Borsh in August 2017.We had coffee, breakfast and lunch at Matteo's maybe 8 or 10 times - we kept coming back as it was the beach's best restaurant, as well as its quietest and most pleasant section. Although unassuming, this restaurant is a gem. The staff is friendly and smiling; the food is simple, yet delicious, and the portions are generous. Their espresso is good. The place is very clean (both men's and women's toilets are spotless, THANKS!). They let deck-chairs for the day. There's a TV above the bar but it is never too loud, and the raised section of the restaurant is aways quiet. Supposedly there is WiFi but we could never see the network - our phones might be outdated. Overall, a great experience. Thank you!Hello from MATTEO! Thanks for giving us a great review. The WiFi network is going to be updated next season for all phones. We appreciate your comments, as we look forward to your next visit. Thanks again!
Mediterranean Italian Greek Albanian Turkish menu and a pleasure rounded place with 80-100 persons capacity, we serve seafood that is our speciality which is due to our MASTERCHEF (one of 3 BEST CHEFS in ALBANIA) we guarantee quality and a pleasant atmosp
Here you can find exactly what you need: breakfast and dinner late at night, coffee and best mohito variation (ask for the one with ginger), restaurant tables and lounge that allows you to chill. Solymar has its own unique atmosphere. It is for several reasons. First thing that attracts attention is the design, very tastefull. Space, colourful pillows, big linen curtains waveing with the wind and the beach beds with nice cuschinns and umbrellas out of hay. Secondly, the food. The mixture of sea food and local cuisine, simple and fresh. Thirdly, the service. Solymar is the family business. You can feel there very comfortable. The stuff speaks English very well. The owner does his best to make you feel special. It is not easy to run own business and it is often not obvious for managers that the success belongs to a clients service. The owner of Solymar should teach others how to provide exellent customer experiance.Solymar offered us all things that we have not found in other places on the beach of Borsh.

We are here to bring you the best food you will eat in Albania. Love and passion make us to bring you a delicious and fresh food.
The only place we went to twice, nice ambiance, service, meals, value for money. Portions might be larger. Wonderful home made pasta!
There are few options for dinner in Qeparo. Te Stefi has a great location on the ocean boardwalk, the menu was extremely limited during our visit in the evening. This was in September 2017, maybe considered off-season. The waiter was average, not very attentive nor seemed to enjoy being at work. The food was also average, nothing special especially with the seafood we ordered. There are better options in Qeparo.
I went there two days after they opened for the season. They don't speak the best english, but they are very friendly and welcoming. They have a beautiful view of the ocean nice to be there during sunset. I had a seafood mix of some sort. It was nice, but pretty salty. I found this to be the case all over Albania. Maybe I just need to add more salt to my own cooking :-PThe menu was decent with a good variety of options and like I said the staff are what made the place!
Super enjoyable dinner here! The waiters were extremely friendly & even traded to make sure we had one who spoke our language (Italian/English) beautiful location & large portions!
Where to eat Seafood food in Qeparo: The Best Restaurants and Bars

We stayed five days at Qeparo Beach and tried most of the restaurants and by far, without question, Barbarosa is the best! The food, atmosphere, service and attention to detail was superb! In particular we loved the shrimp cooked in garlic and brandy which was amazingly delicious. With the excellent and generous sized Salate Barbarosa (mixed salad) and fresh bread we enjoyed the best meal weâve had in a very long time. Finally, owner/manager Edi makes the whole experience uniquely special. He keeps the place running smoothly and is constantly aware of all his customers needs. Every day we were there the restaurant was busier than any other on the strand and Edi was non-stop making sure guests were greeted and seated, orders were taken, food and drinks were served, and super attentive to every customer. All done with a sincere and welcoming friendliness. A must visit for anyone staying in the area or passing by.
