It was a part of Katowice Voivodeship from 1975 until administrative reform in 1998.

We have spent ten minutes in that place...during that time no one came to present us the menu, not to mention welcoming and walking us to our 'table'. We have left, together with other people who have been there before us, waiting for nothing...DO NOT GO THERE!!!

If you are in Pszczyna and want to taste some of the classic Pierogi you've heard so much about (and you had to - every person who visits Poland has to have Pierogi at least once!), this place is your best bet. The selection of traditional Polish dumplings is all right, it's cheap (as it should be), quiet (and that's good) and the meals are delicious - Ruskie are extraordinary!The service might be a little slow sometimes and it's not located in the city center, but the taste is worth the hassle.

Following our lengthy visit to The Castle Museum in Pszczyna (already reviewed) we went looking for somewhere to have a late lunch in the small town that abuts the main Castle building.We were intending to eat in a small restaurant in the square which our friend's son and girl friend had visited before, but when we got there it was completely full. We should have pre booked our places!We then back towards the Castle itself and found Café Telemanna. The entrance to the café is beneath an arch which leads into one of the courtyards. There is a large sign on the metal railings outside drawing attention to the place.As we walked into the cafe, we were struck by the quirky atmosphere inside, which obviously had a musical theme. There was a huge brass tuba type instrument hanging from the ceiling and other musical instruments positioned around the entrance itself. Even the counter area represented a piano There was a very warm and inviting "feel" about the place.The cafe was busy, but we were able to find a table for our group of six in a circular, very light and airy room adjacent to the counter area.The staff were attentive and we were promptly asked for our choices of food from a menu that was very good with a wide selection of food.We opted for "toasties" with various fillings and soup. Simply delicious and very filling.There was also a good selection of beers and coffees.The premises were spotlessly clean which included the loos!Having eaten our lunch, we made our way back to the railway station through the park belonging to the Castle en route back to Bielsko.The food we ate in Café Telemanna was good value for money and the location was perfect for a late lunch.

Very tasteful restaurant - small menu but very excellent - and extreme helpful and friendly staff. The complete resturant in held in style of 1970's - even decoration, furnitures and many other detail - feels like trip "back to the past" and "Oldies" are calling you.Easy to reach via highway - lot of parking area around whithin fenced park areaThank you for your opinion!! We're very happy that you liked our menu and decoration ;) See you again!

Stylish restaurant offering traditional Silesian food and local, hand-made alcoholic drinks. The menu is not very reach but food is really superb in terms of quality what is seen on the bill. Service is very fast and nice. During weekends the restaurant might be very busy so it is good idea to book a table in advance. That restaurant offers VIP room where you can organise business meals, events etc. The other advantage of the place is that it is at the market square next to town hall, Palace with nice park.

They have really great Italian-style pizzas there and a choice of draft and bottled beers (Heineken, Zywiec, Porter, Strong, Paulaner on draft). Apart from nice food one can watch performances of top Polish jazz bands at Bugsy's. Service is unfortunately quite slow.

It was pleasure to visit that placeMy local living friends took me there for lunchI had wild mushroom soup - I would give 4/5 Tatar steak 4/5 also only as I couldn't get pepper mill and need to use ready pepper which is not impressive for meAt last for main meal I had Duck with apples . I didn't expect that I will be so big;) I wouldn't took Tatar steak It was delicious ;) Strongly recommended to anyone

We stopped here after a long working day. I ordered a Lemonade and was surprised with a Jug of Homemade Lemonade that was fantastic. The menu is not very big, but you have a choice of Traditional 'Schlesian' and International Food. I had a Grilled Salmon and Salad. I have not had better in Poland !

Recommended by TripAdvisor, so chose to eat there. Fantastic beef, great spaghetti and cool Czech beer makes visit remarkable. Nice waitresses and very helpful. Prices affordable.We had dinner with kids and they also found place taste and comfortable.

As I have stated in previous reviews, Italian food is not my favourite, however saying that, I do enjoy a good pizza, and this place makes the best authentic pizzas in Pszczyna.The selection of other dishes is limited and my friends were a bit disappointed with the lasagna that turned out to be very greasy.Luckily there were other dishes that hit the mark.The service was good and attentive and there was a good choice of wines.The place is a popular haunt for people of all ages and is busy during the weekends so I would book in advance.
