Before I decide that a particular restaurant is my favourite, especially in my home town, I need to visit it at least twice.The food, the service & location of La Bodega is perfect.And I'm critical.The menu has something for everyone, served by waiters that actually know about what they are serving.Music was pleasant but never intrusive.Yes, La Bodega is now my favourite local restaurant.An authentic tapas experience right on my doorstep.Life is good

Since this is a beautiful place in Eidangerfjorden we are happy to say that , since the first visit this place has improved and have become a favourit to have lunch and dinner. Hope guests and regulars will help them to maintain or even improve their concept. Dell done.

Etter en begravelse ble jeg invitert til en minnestund. Vi var 40 personer som ble tatt vel i mot. Spisestedet ligger i 5. Etg i Olavsgate 26. Det var egen parkering 50 m fra stedet. Stedet har 1 vare/personheis . Adkomsten var noe kronglete, men ok om man kunne vente på tur til heisen. Vennlig betjening som fulgte bra opp serveringen. Maten var meget god og ble servert godt varmt. Som sted for større selskaper er dette et flott alternativ som selskapslokale.

Rather modern and film noir like in style. Quick and friendly service. I ate the lasagna, but for me it was rather boring in taste. The meat and pasta was meshed together like porridge and I missed more spicy taste. The cheese on top was also rather creamy I like it more crispy.If you will have a family dinner and the kids are skeptic to foreign flavors this is the place. But for me I find the same taste and type of lasagna in the deep frozen departement at my local store.Thank you for taking your valuable time to write a review of our restaurant. I am sorry to hear that the Lasagna did not quite fit your taste. Our lasagna is made at our kitchen from scratch, and we make the lasagna child friendly and as a traditional lasagna. However we have several other dishes. Try our mussels, Blue cheese burger or Spinach and smoked salmon pie. They have more complex tastes and spices.

The food at Balkan is very good - from the pizza to the kebab. The people at Balkan could smile a bit more, but to be honest do I not care as long as the food they make are good. The prices are also on the positive side. Location is very good, but the place itself need some painting......

I've been here a couple of times because of its vicinity to VIC hotel. Bar scene is very good with a good selection of beers. Food is also decent.

Lots of people at the bar. Small dance floor and many beautiful people eager to dance to the beat. Crowd range from 30's to 40's mostly. Strawberry daiquiri was recommended by colleagues so ordered for everyone in the group. I got disappointed. Probably there was just a drop of alcohol in it. The drink was mixed in a big blender...mostly just strawberry. Tasted nothing like what it was supposed to.

The staff are friendly, the baked goods are freshly baked and the location is nice. The cafe is next to a park and the river which is great for lazy days.

We came to VIC hotel in the afternoon and went out for dinner. This restaurant was nearby and on top of the Tripadvisor list. The place had a lot of character and a very good atmosphere. The menu was inviting and we were happy with the wild boar. The selection of beers were limited.
