Stopped at Monkey Espresso Bar while on a day visit from Ayvalık, Turkey which is located just over an hour away by boat.After a long day walking around the town and swimming, we stopped for something to eat and drink.Staff were very welcoming & friendly. The menu had a decent selection of hot and cold food on offer. Looking around other tables food looked well presented and inviting.We opted for a plate of crispy chicken strips and a couple of beers to wash it down.Food was delivered in good time and was indeed well presented and tasty.Finally the overall cost was good and we will visit again on our next trip. Recommended

Amazing service!!! Amazing really! Good food. Itâs the first restaurant Iâve ever visit by the sea that they donât serve seafood!!! Hahah really guys? Why? But, they have vegan options at least... And do something with smoking, we could not breathe:(

We went there too eat a late meal. We ordered sushi platter and another starte. The wine was good. But the sushi tasted old and was like the sushi you buy in the store and had been there for a couple of weeks!! We told the the waitress that we wouldnât pay for it and that we wanted her to remove it for our check. She then told use that it was the best sushi she had tasted and that we had to pay for it. But after she had seen use taking a picture of the check, she came back and told us that we could remove it after all. After we had pay she grunted and maid a face remark before walking away.Dear cma32,we are sorry that you didnât enjoy our sushi dish. Honestly, we are surprised with your comment since itâs among the best dishes according to our customers.. Seeing your photo we assume you enjoyed our delicious mini burgers and salmon tart. We respect our customers but we also trust our staff who are always polite. With all the respect, we didnât expect a negative review especially since you did not pay after all. Situated on the waterside with fabulous views across the harbour this family run restaurant provides very good food at a reasonable cost. There is always a great variety of food including fresh fish , meat and home made delights, the dolmades were outstanding. We always head here for lunch when in town, it is well worth the experience.

Paratairon ("unique") was an absolute delight. Tucked away in the backstreets of Mytilene just off the main port street, this restaurant offers a range of authentic meze (like tapas) dishes at affordable prices. I had the delicately fried meatballs drizzled with lemon. I dipped them in decadently thick tzatziki. The chef offered a complimentary dessert which was a deliciously lightly spiced cake with a dark chocolate icing. I also enjoyed the music soundtrack which was an eclectic collection of modern Greek music crafted with authentic instruments and vocals. Overall, a very enjoyable evening.

Oh the pizza! Oh the pasta! Of the fantastic chef and hostess. Everything here is good and I came back often. I love good pizza and hate bad pizza. Dulce Vita has superb pizza!!
