I visited business friends in the Alpenhof Murnau yesterday and was very surprised to see a totally renovated entrance aree, new reception desk area and a great bar/lobby lounge combination. Very nice furniture alpine chic, great lights, nice atmosphere and a full bar with 4 different local bavarian beers on tab, a whole variety of gins and whiskys and very friendly service - and on top a good playlist.Will be back for sure!

We arrived late in this nice restaurant in the city center of Murnau. Great place for informal diner with your family or team members. Risotto and Saltimbocca are really recommended. Dessert home made tiramisu. Ask for the wine list.

We enjoyed a pizza and salad lunch here while spending a day touring Murnau. We sat outside, beautiful sunny early autumn day. The service was good and the food was very good. It is very casual, perfect for a short stop during a day of touring. I do recommend this restaurant. Very relaxing with friendly service.

I have come here regularly since this place has reopened with its new concept and have tried a variety of dishes. This place is a butcher shop with an attached restaurant. The shop sells top quality meat and charcuterie from locally sourced animals. The restaurant offers typical Bavarian cuisine of a high standard in a lovely, bright space and a relaxed atmosphere. I usually come here to have lunch. Opening times are Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday 7:30-20:00 Wednesday until 14:00. Although the owner is a butcher, the vegetarian options on the menu like the Käsespätzle (lots of cheese, no cream) or the oven-roasted vegetables are really tasty! The salad is fresh, the dressing doesn't overwhelm, but helps lift the flavours. I usually have a WeiÃwurst with Brezn and WeiÃbier. With WeiÃwurst I am extremely picky. Here is one of the few places I will eat it. The meat dishes are always excellent and haven't disappointed until now. The accompanying vegetables are always cooked to perfection, like the cabbage I had today with some Geschnetzeltes. Not cooked to a mush, but still some bite with a lovely sprinkling of caraway. The cook seems to really knows his stuff! Service is welcoming and friendly. The coffee is also great!

The food was great. The best burger I have had in Munich area in the last 5 years. The staff were super, nice and efficient. The location direct on the beach/lake cannot be beaten. The setup is fantastically creative and innovative. No complaints at all!

We have spent nearly 3 weeks in Europe. This is one of out favorite places we have stopped. Isabel is charming and her place is full of charm. The wine is good. The food is great. Our boys both had the snitzel and it was the best we've had. My wife ordered the stuffed pasta and I had the Thai curry with tiger prawns. For the price, this is the best restaurant where we ate. Great for couples and good for families.

and we were very happy! Went there with visiting friends from Australia. Food was excellent, a very nice wine list at reasonablöe prices. That was a very nice evening in a friendly, modern and at the same authentic restaurant. Definitely to be recommended.

Went with a group of people for the beer tour and tasting. Includes 4 different types of beer and a liquor beer. The owner met us dressed in his traditional Bavarian clothing and our first sample of beer. He is very funny and entertaining. Listen up because you have a test at the end and receive a diploma as a Bier Meister Assistant. It was too fun. Food is served from a large buffet and rather inexpensive for the portions. Busy and upbeat atmosphere. Nice gift shop to pick up a few bottles of the beer or other souvenirs.

Do not be surprised finding the place busy, but calm down since the people mostly go to the beer garden with self-service. This is okay, but dining on the terrace is much more recommended. The food is delicious, the staff friendly and the wine selection offers what you need. Over all a very nice place with amazing food.

Food, and good service. The veal was perfect, and all the pasta dishes are spot on. The 4 cheese pizza is done in a perfect Italian (and very possibly a New York) style. Drinks are on the small side but the wine selection is pretty good. After eating Herman food for a few days this is a great change. A++ food/ service/ // but the ambiance was a little lacking. It was becoming warm and the staff opened the windows for a breeze...no screen and we were attacked by literally dozens of flies..Im glad we were just about finished otherwise it would have been a big problem..Food was awesome...
