To find Albackens Tradgardskafferi you need to turn off the main E4 road just after Mjölby (if you are driving towards Stockholm). A bit trick but the search is well worth it. The menu was very nice and tempting - and the food is made there! No factory produced, microwave heated highway diner mush. Here they serve the real thing. And the nice women who run the place are just as pleasant. Greta place, which also happens to double as a shabby chic graden centre. Interesting combo!

Iâm a regular at Open New Doors in Gothenburg so Iâm familiar with The concept. Organic, healthy and plant based. Erika and her team are very innovative and the menu is composed from whatâs in season. For now my fave item on the menu is the Mexican Bowl. Mango, cilantro, pepper, lettuce/romaine, avocado and a Spicy âminced meatâ topping made from nuts. The Bomb! Also, the GF bread with tomato relish is highly recommended. And, Of course, to get a raw cake for desert. There are plenty Of options and all Of them are soooo good. Well worth a visit. Just a 10 min detour from E4 when en route...
