Bei tollem Wetter würden wir von einer sehr netten Bedienung vor dem Lokal im freien bedient. Tolle Steaks und andere Gericht haben den Abend abgerundet.Toller Abend vielen Dank.

We were really looking for German food, but we were hungry, so we weren't sorry to stop at this Italian place. The servers were multi-lingual and very friendly and the food, while perhaps not exactly as good as you might get in Rome, was superior. We enjoyed the time under the umbrellas in the fresh air.

It was an unseasonably cold October day as we finished a private 'town tour' with my wife's German relatives. We ducked into the Schweizer Hof and were warmly greeted and given a great table in the corner near the window where we could enjoy the quaintness from the warmth of the interior. We chose very traditional fare - beef with spatzle that was above 'average' (given that I've been to Germany many times and am not a huge fan of their traditional food). Portions were generous, tasty, and a lovely old traditional German restaurant in a lovely old traditional German village!

Das Restaurant ist mehr ein Vereinsheim. Essen ist gut und reichlich. Es gibt auch deutsches Essen aber überwiegend kroatisch. Parkplätze sind reichlich vorhanden. Hat auch eine Terrasse.

Wir waren Gäste als Teil einer sehr groÃen Gesellschaft zum Abendessen. AuÃer unserer Gesellschaft waren noch andere gröÃere Gruppen und auch Einzelgäste im Restaurant. Wir wurden auf der Terrasse zum Aperitiv empfangen. Die Bedienungen waren den ganzen Abend aufmerksam und sehr bemüht, es allen Gästen Recht zu machen. Es gab eine gedruckte Menükarte für das mehrgängige Menü, das mit angemessenen Abständen serviert wurde. Der Vorspeisenteller mit Antipasti war optisch ein Traum, auch geschmacklich sehr gut! Die Hauptspeisen aus Fleisch, Geflügel, Spätzle, Pommes frites und Gemüse waren qualitativ gut bis sehr gut. Auch die Nachspeise war optisch sehr ansprechend und lecker.Das Restaurant war sehr schön dekoriert. Alles in allem war es eine sehr gute Restaurant- und Serviceleistung! Hier kann man sehr gut hingehen!

We enjoyed the Haussermann wine with our dinner at a local restaurant, and ended up visiting the following day to buy some wine to bring back to Scotland. Our host was so kind to open up for us and did a lovely job of explaining the wines (in excellent English) After some tasing, we left with a few bottles, which we are planning to save for special occaisions in the next few months. I expect we will be back for more another time.Thank you.

Gestern abend sind wir im Weingut Kelterhof zum Essen gewesen. Tischreservierung hat sehr gut geklappt. Kaum gesessen wurde die Karte gereicht und auch gleich nach Getränken gefragt. AnschlieÃend habe ich einen Rostbraten mit Spätzle bestellt. Mein Geschäftspartner hat sich für eine Art Schlachtplatte entschieden. Das Essen kam dann ruckzuck - alles in hervorragender Qualität. Schönes Stück Fleisch, gute SoÃe und reichlich Spätzle. Dazu einen Spätburgunder und ein Wasser. Das komplette Serviceteam scheint viel Spaà an der Arbeit zu haben - das zeigt sich an der guten Laune und einem kurzen Gespräch mit den Gästen - tolle Atmosphäre.Dann noch ein Wort zu den Preisen - Rostbraten mit Spätzle, 3 Spätburgunder, 1 kleines Wasser = 30,40 â¬. Den Abend vorher war ich in Karlsruhe im Steakhaus; da war das nackte Entrecote bereits bei 34,50 ⬠ohne Beilagen. Man sieht es geht auch kostengünstiger. Für mich sehr gerne wieder

This was our group of fives sixth attempt at securing an evening meal as the others we had tried were booked out or closed. This is a front dining area with a back room for a sports screen and smokers. We came in search of Maultaschen and found them. Three of us had them with mozzerella and tomato sauce topped with pesto, one with a mushroom sauce and one with onions in eggs. We all enjoyed tremendously and they were very filling. Along with two beers each the price was E87.60 .From what we heard this is certainly not the best in town but it was certainly good enough and I would have no hesitation in returning.

After the tour of the monastery we ate here. Sadly the staff couldnât tell us if the tomato soup was vegetarian ( no chicken or beef bullion). We asked if she could ask, and the answer was, itâs tomato soup, so why would there be a chicken or beef bouillon in it. Well, I skipped the soup, but my companion, who is not vegetarian did have it and said it was great. So, great food, but donât ask too many questions.

We spent a night in Maulbronn and based upon TripAdvisor reviews decided to try this place. I'm always skeptical about tourist town restaurants. This was a great surprise. Everything was very good to great. The Zebra Eggplant app was fantastic with really crispy croutons. I'll have to try making this myself! My wife's salad was fresh, had great ingredients and was properly dressed. For mains I had the beef that was cooked perfectly medium rare with a nice gravy and chanterelles. The portion sizes we're good and I appreciated the reasonable portion of very good fries. Ditto my wife's Cordon Bleu, that was moist and perfectly cooked. Wine was a generous pour. Service was helpful in explaining items and very good.Very minor criticisms. Steak may have been prepared on a hot plate. Could have been in done in a cast iron skillet or grill pan to get a better char. No local wines. Would haved loved to have a selection of the local or regional whites and reds.
