Sehr guter Grieche, etwas Kreatisch angehaucht. Portionen sind sehr groà fast schon zu groÃ. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut und schön angerichtet. Der Service ist nett und auf zac.Würde hier wieder herkommen.

We walked around town on a Friday night looking for a bit of nightlife and after wandering around a bit, we stumbled along this place. Unlike all of the other bars which seemed mostly empty, this place was very crowded, but we were lucky enough to still get a table. They have a large drinks menu with many kinds of beer and spirits and a food menu. We weren't really hungry but the food the others had looked good and the service was good and quick in spite of the crowds here.

Wir waren hier anlässlich eines Golfturniers und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Nettes Personal, ein schönes Haus und gute Küche. Was will man mehr.

Stopped at these services en route from Colditz to the Eifel. Good basic German food, well frequented by truck drivers - but not a greasy spoon. Nice onion soup - took a long time to be served, but was worth the wait, followed by a schnitzel with spaghetti and sauce. Filling, tasty and reasonable.

Wir waren bereits mehrfach im VulkanWohnzimmer und haben dort immer das leckere Steak von heiÃen Stein bestellt - Bio-Qualität und 1a Genuss. Da der heiÃe Stein das Steak immer weiterbrutzelt, ist es jederzeit schön heiÃ, aber nichts für Steakfanatiker, die einen exakten Garpunkt haben wollen.Sehr lecker sind auch die wechselnden Tagessuppen.Zum Abschluss hatten wir auch schon einen Kuchen zum Kaffee... hausgemacht und sehr lecker. Kaffee wird selbst geröstet und hat ein klasse Aroma.Sehr empfehlenswert!

Das Navi / GPS führte mich beim Restaurant PARTHENON in eine vollkommen falsche Richtung und so erging es aus anderen Gästen. Die Suche nach dem Campingplatz führt da besser ans Ziel.Leider hat man von der Terrasse aus keinen Blick auf den Stausee, sondern nur auf diverse Wohnmobile. Der Eingang zum Campingplatz liegt direkt neben dem Restaurant.Die Einrichtung ist recht einfach und auch die Möbel auf der Terrasse wirken zwar neu aber lieblos. Das Restaurant lädt nicht wirklich zum Verweilen ein. Aber das Essen ist recht gut. Die Gyros-Platte für EUR 9,90 (Gyros, Suvlaki, Reis und ein Beilagensalat) war für den wirklich groÃen Appetit und sehr lecker. Der Service ist aufmerksam und ausgesprochen freundlich. Und das alkoholfreie Weizen (Licher) ist für den Autofahrer genau das richtige bei heiÃem Wetter auf der Terrasse.Nach dem Essen lohnt der Spazierweg um den See (5 km).

Every year when visiting our aunt in Lich we make a point of having a meal at the Klosterwald. This year we found the food even better than in the previous years. Our aunt had the "Zander filet" which she enjoyed tremendously; it was served on a bed of deliciously prepared pearl barley, which we found very creative. My husband ordered the majesfilet (Vinegared herring) served on a bed of perfectly sauteed broad beans, which was excellent. I ordered a pork dish because I had to have the Spaetzle it was served with, and the Spaetzle was good and the pork did not disappoint. The friendly waitor attending to us was very professional and helpful. We sat in the room with the fireplace which is very bright with big windows, and I think the cheerfulness of this room added to our lunch experience. In the past we often sat in the other sections of the restaurant which are darker and not as inviting. The garden is also wonderful if the weather is sunny. Have for years been wanting to review Klosterwald and am so glad to finally get around to it! Enjoy!

We were hungry looking around beautiful Laubach and found this little gem. An old beautiful interior with a lot of class and a piano parked in the corner (would have loved to hear this whilst eating). The gentleman that served us was extraordinarily professional and polite and reminded of old school waitering that has bean forgotten through the years.The small salad bar was quality but the steak was the winner; perfectly grilled to perfection and really tender. I was surprised the restaurant wasn't busier but that enable good service.We will return and in particular with friends and family.Well done to the owners and management; top restaurant in the area.
