Restaurant is a bit outside Labin and was convenient for us for a quick meal. Menu is good, I'd describe it as honest food rather than upmarket cuisine. Service and atmosphere both fine, prices reasonable.

Visited as a family early evening and initially received a warm welcome from a young waitress. We ordered 3 pizzas and a pasta dish but were told that only pizzas are under normal availability with a long wait for anything else. In considering what Pizza to order in place of the pasta we hesitated for less than 10 seconds but rather than show patience for my son the lady taking our order (think was the owner) turned away and went to take orders from a party of 8 who had arrived after us. I find this extremely rude and it made us feel like our custom wasn't welcome. When the 4 Pizzas arrived they were disappointing. Maybe we were unlucky but the taste and texture was not to our liking. The base seemed undercooked and the toppings not tasty. A few days later we had pizzas from another restaurant called Kum in Krnica and they seemed much better. Perhaps our taste is different to the other reviews here about Zara but I would not return or recommend Zara.

A bit of a trek into the country, but what a find, lovely setting and very friendly staff with attentive service. Food was very local and authentic and although the evening was a little chilly it was a fabulous night out. Food is excellent and almost everything is sourced on the property, either home grown, home made or cured. Even their own wines. Really excellent for local delicacies, worth a visit!

We stoped by for lunch, because the Restaurant and the garden looked very nice to us.Service is friendly but slow.And the food, what could one say about it???Product quality is very poor and cheap........The cook should better be aware that itâs not necessary to kill animals twice and frequently change the oil in his frier!!!Pricing is cheap, but not even worth it!A clear NOGO for us! After waiting for 2 hours (!!!) we finally got served rather average food which was partly cold!Staff wasn't very endeavoured either.We do not recommend!

We had a great time there! It is a sweet little place with lots of nice details. The vineyard view and the domestic surrounding makes it even more relaxing and cozy. The staff is very professional, but helpful and easygoing. One can feel that everything is made with love and thoughtfully chosen. No matter which guests were on the other tables,we could feel that everybody is enjoying their time and meals. We'll visit again. :)Gentile Barbara grazie mille , ha colto il senso di Vorichi . We were here on a very busy evening and unfortunately we had to sit inside. But in spite of this we were all very satisfied! Although it was busy the service was quick and friendly and we were certainly not disappointed in the pizzas. We all had different pizzas and everybody was clear that their pizza was the best :). I tried the spicy one and this I can recommend if you like spicy food.

Our family stayed here for lunch during our trip to Croatia. The restaurant is within a short walk (1 min) from the main square and parking places, along the side of the city walls. Stunning scenery and slightly more quiet than the restaurants in the city square. Plenty of staff to serve people and our waiter was very attentive and fast with assistance. Good selection of various dishes and price still good for your wallet. Our family had ham and cheese as starters, gnocchi and beef, and chicken for the main dish. We enjoyed the place very much and picked up ice cream as we walked off to see the town of Labin. Would we come here again? Yes, absolutely.

We visited this restaurant for an evening meal. The tables were beautifully laid & the waiters were very polite & helpful. We had a table upstairs & outside which gave a great view of the square. Good choice of meals - would definitely recommend cuttlefish risotto & beefsteak strogonoff. Very reasonably priced. Booking essential.

Everything is prepared with attention to the smallest detail, the service is welcoming and kind, elegant atmosphere, but the main protagonist is the quaity of the food. Some dishes could appear 'simple' but Restaurant Peteani will surprise you no matter what. You can have a proper dinner starting fron 30 Euro and easily go higher, but it worth till the last cent!
