After re-opening we wanted to see if it is as good as before. The food quality is between average and good, the variety on the menu is not sufficient. Staff is friendly, but needs some more practice. Maybe it is all too new. All in all we will give it another try.

One of the things that makes this Restaurant special is it's location on the corner of the big square (Buttermarkt) in Kempen. I went here with a work colleague for evening meal and we dined at one of the outside tables to enjoy the last of the day's sunshine. Entertainment was provided by 2 street musicians playing a selection of tunes on Violin and Accordion, this just added nicely to the relaxed atmosphere.The meals were both well presented, delicious and service from the Restaurant staff was polite, friendly and punctual. I have dined here several times before, both inside and outside, and I will carry on returning here.

We arrived on a Sunday night when the Christmas fair seemed to be coming to a close so many of the restaurants were either full or just closing (at 1930!). The restaurant was busy and we know why - the food is really delicious and good value for money. There are lots of wines by the glass - handy when you are driving! There is a mix of pizzas (stone oven), pastas, meats and fish so something for everyone. The atmosphere is nice and the staff attentive. We would go back again.

Leuke Kneipe met een goede Duitse keuken vriendelijk bediening en of je nu komt voor een drankje of een hapje het is er, een goede mix van café en restaurant.

Wir waren vor ca. 1 Woche hier essen, und kann nur sehr gutes berichten. Wir hatten die Haxe, die weltbeste, die ich in meinen Leben gegessen habe. Mein Freund hatte das Schnitzel, alles super frisch und super lecker. Das wird unserer neues Stammlokal. Am besten immer reservieren, da der Laden immer voll ist. Wer die deutsche/bayrische Küche mag, ist hier am besten aufgehoben.Super nettes Personal, und Preise sind auch sehr gut.
