So I went yesterday and I cut through my chicken cube and found a hair, the restaurant apologised but nothing else was done. Quiet shocking and totally would not record anyone else to go here as thereâs no hygiene. God knows how many hairs there was, no flavour in the lamachun! After finding the hair we was still made to pay, you would of thought the two soft drinks would of been complimentary but no. The restaurant itself has been tastefully refurbed and is very clean and visually very appealing both inside and out. We visited early sunday evening and the server was very efficient and friendly initially although as they got busier they seemed to be struggling to cope maybe they were short staffed? Had to ask three times for coffee ordered.. The lamb shish was nice and tender however at 20 pounds for what was essentially 9 cubes of meat and salad and a timbale of rice i would expect it to be of good quality. All the food was of good quality and served on nice crockery. However the prices for most of the dishes are somewhat high bearing in mind there isnt a lot of actual skill involved. In their execution.. But the meat was good quality as said. Good atmosphere and staff did try hard.

Went for late lunch with family and got seated quickly.Staff very polite and great service.Open cooking area as you enter and see your food being bbqFood was ok but I felt it Adana kebab was bit tough.you get free bread and the usuals sauces as much as you need.A bit more expensive than other Turkish restaurants Iâve been to.Interior nice and I think I will back to try more food soon.Restaurant is located walking distance from Romford station.Dear Customer, Thank you for your lovely comment, we are glad that you were satisfied with the food and the service. Another great meal..All the dishes were executed perfectly as has been the case on all previous 4 visits Front of house service and welcome also exceptional.This place really is a breath of fresh air compared to all the mundane places in the surrounding areas. Look forward to next visit to check out the chefs frequently changing menu.

This is a spacious and modern restaurant. Service is both friendly and intuitive. There is a great selection of food on offer including daily specials and set menus during the day. The building appears to accessible and there is seating at the front of the building. my fresh pizza was cooked to order and was filling. My starter of mushrooms in breadcrumbs was served in a small basket. Plenty of buses pass the restaurant and it is close to Romford Train Station. I'll definitely return.

We were a party of 6 and all food served was beautiful! In the current climate where there are now so many Turkish eateries to chose from the Kervan is our new favourite. Service was good although it did seem that they wind down and close fairly early on bearing in mind it was Saturday night, we were told that we could only have one more drink when having after dinner liquers but this would not stop us returning.Dear Jo G, Thank you for this smashing review. Family celebrations for my Father in Laws 90th Birthday ......he really enjoys every visit here as does my Mother in Law so he chose this restaurant to celebrate with all his nearest and dearest.....everyone found something to suit their taste on the menu including the veggie options as well as the catch of the day fish choice .Once again the food was served piping hot and well presented from starter to the sweet trolley everybody thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal.As we have used this restaurant for a few years now we have got to know some of the staff quite well and we have always found all staff polite professional and extremely friendly would just like to say a big thank you to all staff including back of house staff, chefs and catering staff and all waiting and bar staff for making this a really nice occasion......well done to Christine and co...look forward to our next visit Mr and Mrs Bennett and Stan the youngest 90 year old you could meet lol

Booked as heard good things. So glad we did. Everyone was so helpful. We shared mushrooms and they are the best I've ever had. Hubby had lamb and I had the beef. Both we very tasty, lovely fresh veg with accompaniments. Afters was cheese cake which hubby was happy with. Definitely worth a visit. Will definitely go back. Wish could give 4 and half stars.
