We only popped into La Gourmandise for a beer, but it is often worth reviewing places to advise that a place isnât purely a restaurant, because it is often the case that you just want something to drink.The beer was fine and the service good. I must also say that, although we didnât have anything to eat, the food we saw being served looked pretty good too.

We had their fête de maman menu, good value for a very tasty meal. I enjoyed the starter in particular, shrimp ravioli in a smooth yet light sauce, carrot to add sweetness and spring onion to add a bit of bite. Really balanced set of flavour and well worth bending my no gluten rule for! bof bof pour un hamburger ou une fricandelle.steak cuit dans la friteuse et la viande du steak pas terrible.Je pense qui il y a mieux ailleurs.Sinon le serveur cuistot accueil limite.

This is a hotel & restaurant in Han-Sur-Lesse.We stayed for 1 night. It is a nice hotel and service at the reception was good.The rooms are spacious and well equipped. In the hotel there is also a spa available for guests.Han-Sur-Lesse is a small town but a lot of options for dinner.Overall good stay and breakfast in the morning is included.Only minus is no WIFI in the rooms.

Itâs one of the few places we found open on an October Monday in Han-sur-Lesse and it could so easily have been a typical tourist joint churning out garbage, but it really wasnât. We were warmly welcomed both for lunch and a later afternoon snack, and enjoyed both. The toasted sandwiches and waffles were all very nice and at good prices and we were happy to have been.

Excellent restaurant, great food (countryside French/European), fast service (but they were a bit too stressed?). Drinks might be a bit expensive but we'll come back for the food!

Last weekend we had a romantic escape to Luxemburg, but we decided to go and have dinner in Lâhexagone in Han-sur-Lesse. The restaurant was recommended by the lady that runs the municipal camping last summer, so we went there and we liked it very much. We drove 92km back to Han-Sur-Lesse just to have a great dinner, prepared with love, you can taste it.Lâhexagone signature dishes are the so called âPatellesâ, oven dishes served on iron plate straight from the oven. We both had the Patelle Lombardia : farfalles, crème de Gorgonzola, broccoli, parma ham, ⦠that sounds simple but it was really delicious !As a desert we were hoping to get a âSablé au Figues Caraméliséesâ, one of the best deserts that I have ever ate, however they couldnât serve it, so we had the desert of the house, chocolate mousse with amaretto sabayon, again very delicious.Thanks for the great meal !!!

I went there with my kids after our tour of the caves as I read amazing reviews about this place. To be honest (but please take my review with a pinch a salt) the french fries we chose were as good as all other french fries joints you will find all over Belgium and the service was below average. Maybe during peak periods they are nicer, but not in February.

As many of our fellow tourists we wondered around in this small village / tourist-trap looking, and smelling, disappointed at the few tourist-trap restaurants that it offers. It was obvious that the quality was low and the village just lives of the tourists that come just for a quick visit of the caves. And many of those tourists went at the end for the safe option, its pizza right? how bad can it be? We also went for the pizza, and we were more than positively surprised. The pizzas were tasty, the combination of ingredients was fitting and seemed of good quality. And the pizzas were huge, I mean not the diameter, but they certainly didn't cut expenses on the ingredients. For a minute there I thought I was back in Athens, the Americans will definitely love it (the Romans probably hate it). Nice, friendly staff, nice clean bathroom (including urinal for the gents). All in all good.

Went here yesterday because it was close to the caved of Han and because it had 4 stars on TA.We were welcomed by the boss and were given a table at the inside.Despite of warning us that we had some waiting to do, the service was quickly and friendly, so no complaints about that.The food however was quite bland and needed a lot more spices.Not convinced this time.
