This newly starred restaurant provides a tasting experience, not vulgar food. The chef incredibly mixes unexpected savors into a delicious dish. Egg/snails/Reblochon cheese or red mullet fish+pineapple may sound awfull or even disgusting. Just taste and you'll give this address to your very best friends. The cheese offer will surprise and delight even the best connoisseur.A ne pas manquer. Et vaut le détour. Que vous soyez à Gien, dans le Loiret ou à 150 kms, cette table vaut le trajet. Les prix y sont extrêmement raisonnables.

This was recommended to us by French friends with a holiday home nearby - they were right! Owned and run by a charming young couple, husband in the kitchen, wife runs the front of house. We ate here on a Friday evening and the following Wednesday and they were full on both occasions, it's not hard to see why. Amuse bouche and 3 courses for 25 euros, how do they do it? But it's not all about the cost, the food was delicious, well presented, the service was efficient but very friendly, the wife of the owning couple chatted to each of the guests at the end of the meal and the chef came out from the kitchen to do the same. I am sure we will be coming back to Gien again and when we do, this will be our first port of call! Many thanks! By the way, we have it on good authority that the rum baba is to die for, it wasn't on the menu when we visited, but if it is, go for it!

We arrived at 9pm for our reservation and were greeted promptly & warmly despite the business at that time(last Saturday night). The restaurant has a perfect view and lovely dining area on the Loire, but we very much enjoyed our lovely indoor table too. Cozy, modern, warm.Delicious wines they have; the dishes are creative & original with beautiful presentation and the taste matches up the look The restaurant owners(the chef and the host) speak English so that made the night even better easier for us. Definitely recommend this restaurant and weâll for sure dine there again next time weâre there(too many castles to visit with too little time this time)!

We are a traditional restaurant using local produce and especially fresh produce. Our kitchen is homemade. We have a view on the banks of the Loire and on the bridge.

Visited here on a Saturday evening, a family party with two teenagers, Very friendly and helpful patronne. Very efficient service. Everything beautifully presented, from aperitifs to amouse bouche to starters to mains to desserts. Even the childrens menu was skillfully and thoughtfully presented. Its not cheap, but this is a place to savour the flavours and admire the skill of the chef. Its a memorable dining experience, not just a meal. The portions are large. A great dining experience.
