Left very underwhelmed with our food.âMexican garlic breadâ was literally tortillas soaked in garlic butter with a single jalapeño on. I was quite shocked when it arrived. Whilst admittedly not a traditional Mexican dish husband opted for a burger, the burger and chips looked similar to what you would get in a pub chain. Small portions on chips. Staff were extremely pleasant but food was well overpriced for quality and taste. Wonât be returning unfortunately.

Been today and served by Gareth who was incredibly nice, approachable and very knowledgeable. Ordered our food and gave a great recommendation. Being in the trade I did ask if he was interested in a move in which he laughed and said to have a nice day. Really nice cocktail, some sort of pina colada twist thing with turmeric. Love itHey Wills,It's great to hear your kind words about the service you received from Gareth, we'll ensure to pass this on to him. I am also pleased to hear how much you enjoyed the atmosphere in the lounge. It sounds like you had the Mango Tiki Shake on your visit, we have to agree the tumeric is a great twist! Three of us chose Rocksalt for lunch on a recent visit to Market Harborough. What a find! We all had different starters, mains, and desserts and all were first class. Service was excellent, friendly, welcoming and responsive plus the lunch was great value. Highly recommended and will definitely go back.

The Oat Hill Harry Potter Event! Halloween night on Thursday, a friend and I went to The Oat Hill restaurant and cocktail bar in Market Harborough. They had a Harry Potter Experience which included seven courses of food and seven cocktails that were all themed around the Harry Potter books/films The full menu was fantastically creative, with every course being a surprise, it really added to the atmosphere of the night. . The cocktails we had were equally tasty lovely too! The lengths the whole team went to on the night was astounding! From the room decoration, the atmosphere the staff created, the visiting owls, the food menu and those little touches made the evening so special. The menu and cocktails was planned around spell lessons which progressed through the night. The cocktails were also referenced and all were significant to the films! It was such a fantastic night and I canât wait for the next one, which having spotted a clue within the menu is another book themed winter event. I want to say a huge thank you to the whole team at the Oat Hill for hosting such a spectacular night!

Valentines Day Meal.First time visiting. The food was delicious and plentiful. The value for money was exceptional. The waitresses were all attentive and constantly smiling. I do not have a bad word to say about this place.Overall, a perfect evening thanks to tasty food and great service.Sharing platter to start, 5 different tapas dishes with 2 side dishes for main, and a trio of deserts to finish. A Bellini cocktail and a bottle of prosecco. All for £55!. The value for money match the experience; exceptional.

Lovely décor â relaxed and stylish. Really friendly service â we really felt welcomed. Sharing plates â very generous portions and amazing flavours. Mains â I went for the âdesign your ownâ pizza (what a good idea) and it was delicious. Desserts â I plumped for the âmini dessertâ cannoli, which were far from mini and were absolutely delicious. Weâll definitely be back.
