We found this on our first night and it became our bar! Lovely position to people watch and friendly staff. Drinks good price too

Visited this restaurant a few years back when it was just me and my partner, before the little one arrived and we were very impressed with it, brilliant staff and good food. However returning with a toddler, I was very disappointed, there was no kids menu, strange for such a popular restaurant? Knowing they did a breakfast, I asked if he could have sausages which was fine but adding on beans was like they were doing me a massive favour! Food was fine and enjoyable but I wouldn't return, usually in restaurants our wee boy is made a fuss of and spoiled by the staff but in Marfil it was almost like he didnt exist, perhaps they dont want kids in the restaurant but in a family resort like Cala dor it seems strange. Also no baby changing facilities, unless I missed them? Had to change him in the ladies toilets, while trying to stop people coming in as there was no lock on the door! Disappointed overall as it's a decent enough restaurant but didnt feel they catered for kids.

This restaurant is an absolute hidden gem as it sits up above the more flashy ( & more expensive) places to eat along the edge of the harbour but it is well worth walking past those restaurants and up the steps to seek it out. This place is all about fantastic authentic french food so pretty superficial from the group who reviewed earlier having cancelled without barely stepping inside ( we were there and witnessed their arrival). Our experience was of a staff ( waiter & chefs) who couldnât do enough to make our dining experience special. We started with the baked Camembert and then the fish dishes of sea bass and cod loin which were stunning and it says everything that our 8 year old son finished all his vegetables. The crime brûléeâs were to die for so if you want superb french food at reasonable prices, stunning views and service to match then donât be fooled by the low key entrance area and go inside as you wonât be disappointed.Thank you very much for your comment, and what a joy and pleasure to serve and cook for customers as you friendly and well educated .....Au plaisir de vous recevoir peut être une autre fois.Many thanksChristian

Super friendly service and with a fantastic menu to boot. We embraced the 15 minute walk to the harbour on most days as we knew weâd be in for a great lunch in a friendly venue with that great vibe that all places called Waves tend to produce!Our young son ate well here every day and we very rarely left much on the plate. The Falafel & Lemon chicken wraps were ordered on an embarrassingly regular basis and we never left hungry or in anything other than a chilled and satisfied mood!Thanks guys. Itâs always nice to see regular facing returning to Waves Bar. We hope to see you again

Visited Churchill's at last! Yesterday evening after a couple of years wanting to experience the tapas sensation everyone's talking about. We were left feeling a little disappointed.The staff are just lovely and the food was ok ... but not special.The tables were just functional, refectory style, not set prettily And there was no particular ambience.I can see to a point why they're popular, however, we won't be going back.

We have visited twice on this holiday and will no doubt visit again before our holiday is over . We have tried the pizza, spaghetti bolognese, spaghetti arrabiata, bruschetta, focaccia and all washed down with large peronis. All food is cooked to perfection and the service is prompt and friendly. Just 350m from our apartment Sa Marina is an added bonus .

Decided to try out this restaurant and I was very impressed! There were lots of options to choose from, including several vegetarian dishes. The waitresses were very polite and cheerful. The wait for food wasn't too long either and it was presented very nicely. The food itself was delicious and there was plenty of it. The desserts were great also. The atmosphere in the restaurant was really nice and relaxed. Very impressed! Highly recommend - many options to choose from and a lovely place to eat.

We enjoyed tapas and sangria our first night here as it was recommended by the owner of our AirBnB. The grilled octopus is the best we have ever had and the bacon wrapped dates are a must. We also had panko prawns and croquettas de bacalao. The sangria is fresh and spot on! Our second visit we enjoyed fried sardines(and more octopus and dates) then got their paella. A rich combination of prawns, calamari, lamb, crab and chicken in a surprisingly different, yet delicious rice base. The staff/management are friendly and accommodating at all times. This is a must visit!

My partner and I have just paid our second visit of our holiday to this amazing place. I highly recommend the mixed grill for two at 25euros. The house red is lovely and the starter of olives, bread and alioli is free. The food is that good Iâve nearly forgiven Maradonna for the hand of god goal, nearly!

This place was recommended, but unfortunately didn't live up to expectations. Mainly German diners and we did feel a bit neglected for other diners. There is an English menu and the food was ok. I had pork, which was very slightly over cooked. Wine was ok but all quite pricey. Setting is very nice and there was live music. Not for me and I wouldn't return.
