While waiting to return to Singapore a group of us found this restaurant near the new ferry terminal at Harbour Bay. Since we just had lunch we didnât order much food but had drinks and a couple of pizzas. You could tell that the pizzas were made from scratch because it took about half an hour to come. But boy, were they delicious. The crusts were thin and crispy and the cheese tasted smoky and went really well with the the toppings of salami and mushrooms. The slices were wolfed down in no time flat although we were still quite full from a heavy lunch. Unfortunately we couldnât order any more because we had to leave in a hurry to catch the ferry back home.Hi Dustynoah My sincere apology for the slow serving time. All our dishes are freshly prepared upon orders received and are in ordering sequence. Your valuable comment and feed back are important to us and we will continue to strive and improve to serve our customers better. Hoping to see All of you soon.Cheers

They have the usual spread to suit both asian and western tastes. Porridge, pancakes, waffles, noodles, etc. Strange thing is that they have all the juices in the morning but no orange juice.

While the food was decidedly average (we had calamari and fries and chicken quesadillas), the beers were served deliciously cold! Service was warm and friendly, and the place was very relaxing. We could kick back and enjoy our cold beers. They had quite a nice range of beers (not just Bintang). Not too far from Nagoya Hill, around 10-15 mins cab ride away. :)

The Teras is a lovely place just of the Main Street in Batam centre. With its beautiful decor and warm, friendly staff I was taken a back. I ordered the Tom Yum fried rice with a mixture of seafood through it and as spiced as it was it was really tastey, however, I had an issue going back and forward to the toilet all night and can only contribute this to the food as my mother-in-law had the same problem. My partner who all night was adamant that we should stick with the well done steak never had this problem and thoroughly enjoyed his meal. It really is a nice place but if I were you stick with the steak and stay away from the local food.

This bright, clean, modern restaurant is next to the Nagoya Hill shopping mall and easy to access. The staff are cheerful and friendly and speak excellent English. The food is heavenly and very Italian - because the chef and owner is. My truffle fettucine was excellent - cooked al dente and brimming with several suble flavours. The pizza was outstanding, with a light, flaky base. The staff were happy to modify the menu to accommodate our vegetarian requirements. And the wine was superb. Highly recommended.
