The exterior of this restaurant belies the quality within. The sign outside says vue panoramique and indeed, it is. The view from the restaurant and its balcony across the etang are wonderful.The food is excellent and the service of a very good quality. The buffet is magnificent value and offers quality at a very reasonable price. The fish soup was very good. The selection on offer was broad enough to be interesting and to cater for various tastes. The desserts, sorbet and cafe gourmand were outstanding. The food is as fresh as it can be.All in all, good food, good service and a reasonable price in a spectacular setting. We had a wonderful afternoon here and will be returning in the near future.

found a recommendation in Lazy Languedoc guide, so as it was off the path least trodden decided to seek it out on a beautifully sunny day in Nov. What a surprise too, located literally right on the crystal clear waters edge with fantastic views towards Bouzigue and further West to Meze and Marseillan in the distance.We went for lunch, very pleased with our food, good portions and helpful waiter / patron. Imagine this would be a great place to eat while watching the sunset over the lagoon.After lunch we walked beside the water around the promontory towards town with wonderful views of nearby Sete. Really worth seeking out one day.

Local restaurants trying to adapt to these tourists are ridiculous as well.We have been exploring the Bouzigues area since years, and we have discovered a number of quiet authentic places to enjoy the famous oysters. We tried Chez Julie this time as we could make our reservation online. As one of the previous reviewers points out: everything seems to be ok, but something is missing. Warm welcome, decent menu de l'Etang at 26 euros, friendly and efficient service ... so it's this je ne sais quoi of authenticity that is lacking. This loss of authenticity due to adaptation to clients.My advice would be: be the restaurant you want to be for the locals, and the rest will follow. The rest meaning the type of clients you wish to see in your restaurant.

Full of hope based on the reviews, we dined at this restaurant last evening. We chose grilled lobster. Everything about the meal, except our G&T and wine, was extremely disappointing. We usually find something good to say but sadly can't on this occasion. The lady who sat to our right pushed her plate away after trying her particular dish, as had the lady who'd occupied the same table earlier. It could have been a bad night for the Chef but our lunch today at Bar et Brasserie Alexandre excelled and it cost only half the price. Advice is to go to restaurants that artisans and locals go to, not the tourists.

We had a very nice dinner choosing a tappas plate and a seafood plate. It proved to be a great choice. Very friendly service and limited waiting time although restaurant was quite full. Good choice of wine and salads too. On an earlier night we went to one of the bigger waterfront places and realized it was a mistake. La Garriguette is way above in terms of service, friendliness and atmosphere.

We arrived without a reservation and were lucky to find an inside table available. The 16 Euro menu was what we chose, I had the mixed shellfish consisting of 4 oysters and 6 mussels, all raw and wonderfully fresh. My wife enjoyed the seafood soup. We were both mostly full after the entre course and only had one portion of the pork tenderlion which was perfectly cooked, the second portion became dinner with a nice salad. Finishing with the lemon creme we left perfectly satisfied.

We left this restaurant until our last night as it looked a bit more special than the other restaurants itâs surrounded by. We were not disappointed.... The food is incredible; so are the drinks and the staff. Whilst the menu was somewhat limited, it would cater for all tastes and is very reasonably priced given the extremely high standard of what is served. We would urge anyone passing through the area to try this beautiful restaurant out :)

We loved sitting in the little patio area at the back of the restaurant under the stars. Service was great and very friendly. Food was a little different but we all enjoyed our meals. A great experience all round.

Nice atmosphere in the back patio around a central fountain surrounded by plants, definitely a very charming place to have a relaxing meal. The carte I looks good but at the end dishes are not well balanced with too many ingredients and spices that don't combine well. I had a tuna tartar with wakame and coco espuma the dish had too much cream not enough salt and even flower buds and sprouts. The overall result was an balanced dish. The whole meal was like this, it felt like the cook was just over doing it. Too bad
