Had antipasti and glass of local wine for lunch yesterday at this restaurant and found the food dull and uninteresting compared to other restaurants weâve eaten at. We have loved the selections of antipasti weâve had in many others restaurants in the Bari area. This was overpriced for the poor selection we received. We only wanted a light lunch, but this was sparse. The waiters were pleasant but not attentive. Lacked atmosphere - would suggest looking further if you want a light lunch as this place has prime position but feels as if itâs resting on its laurels.

Four of us enjoyed dinner at this restaurant . We shared the anti pasta - which comprised a number of different dishes including octopus, grilled vegetables, olives, salami and cheese , cheese pastries . The anti pasta was the best part of the meal. The serving was large, we enjoyed it - but we probably didnât need the secondi ! For secondi we had grilled meats, which were nothing special , fish - quite nice , and a ravioli . The ravioli had crustacean filling which was lost in the cream sauce. The restaurant was in a trulli - so a unique setting.

We had a wonderful lunch at Mehta. The chef, served several âAmuse Boucheâ items and a glass of sparkling Rosé before we ordered. He took a lot of time explaining the source and preparation of each dish. Being in Martina Franca, itâs unlikely they will ever win a Michelin Star, but they certainly deserve one. It was fantastico!

We stumbled upon Antichi Sapori on our way from Polignano a Mare to Ostuni and were treated to the best meal we had in Italy. Everything was perfect about it - sitting outside with a gentle breeze blowing, tables covered with white linen - the epitome of an Italian lunch. We shared Puglia burrata and salumi, bocconcini and tomato salad, amongst other dishes. The winning dish was undoubtedly the lasagna -I've never tasted such delicate lasagna, with paper-thin sheets of pasta covered in a delectable meat sauce, very light on the cheese, which was beyond perfection. The staff was welcoming and service was impeccable. If travelling in Puglia, this osteria is well worth a detour. You won't be disappointed.After months that we can answer, we remember the votive stay in our restaurant in the cool of our two trees. We had dinner here after being recommended by our hotel and the food was delicious- would recommend the pasta with ricotta, tomatoes and eggplant and chocolate mousse for dessert. The house red wine was a Primitivo and was very nice. If you havenât booked we recommend arriving when they open at 7.30pm as guests were being turned away around 9pm. If you want to sit outside in the garden make sure you have applied insect repellent as there are midges and we got bitten within the first 10 mins of sitting down. There are candles dotted around but unless they are directly under your table you will get bitten.

As collectors of the Piatto del Buon Ricordo, we visited Alberobello to eat at this restaurant. It was a wonderful experience. The restaurant is elegant, the service impeccable, and the food delicious. My husband had the special dish (Spigola roll ups in clam sauce) in order to get the plate. I had a very delicious modern version of eggplant parmigiana.
