Though restaurant is in soviet architecture building-hotel, don't be afraid: design of the restaurant is very different and rare to compare with a lot of other "folklored" venues. Subtle colors, pictures with authentic folk ornaments and wooden floors and furniture turns this space into Lithuanian-Provence style. The same is with food: prepared in old manner, based on Lithuanian kitchen it avoids kitsch - no "cepelinai" or other stomach stuffing bombs. Staff was very friendly to say what meals will take more time, and the food was very good. Probably the best restaurant in AnykÅ¡Äiai.

Don't judge the place by it looks, which isn't that great. However the service and the food we received was top level. It was well portioned and unexpectedly tasty. Quite a few dishes, which we wanted to order or already ordered (got them changed later), were not available for order - that is the only caveat we had experienced.

We came here instead of Nykscio Namai, which was unfortunately too busy with about 1 hour waiting time. We had two soups, four mains and table water for 28â¬. Food was OK, service was fast, nothing to complain about.
