We were passing through the area on a trip and thanks to Tripadvisor reviews we decided to try this place. It is just a short distance from the NYS Thruway. It was worth it getting off the Thruway for the meal. The place was easily accessible by wheelchair. The staff were very friendly. It was readily apparent that there is a regular day to day group of customers who come here often. Everyone, including the customers coming in are very friendly making you fell right at home. Nice! The service was accurate, fast and efficient. The food was very good with ample portions. The prices are reasonable. Would definitely stop here again.

My mom always made the best breakfasts. Connie's Diner is right up there with mom's in my opinion. Although it was lunchtime, I couldn't resisit the eggs and bacon, potatoes and toast breakfast. The eggs were exactly the way I like them and the potatoes were delectable. There was so much food that I had to take half with me. Hubby enjoyed his hot meatloaf sandwich and mashed potatoes (the real thing.) The place was busy while we were eating and everyone was welcomed with a friendly hello. In fact our waitress went out the door to help an elderly woman with a cane get into the diner. That made me feel so good. She took care of us like we were family. I enjoyed looking at all the various items in the diner that added to its atmosphere. Prices were incredibly reasonable also. Love this place!

I found this a fun place, and had a good experience with hostess, wait staff, food, seating and general ambiance. Even on a busy Saturday, everything was pleasant, but perhaps that does not always happen, per other reviews. Service was polite, prompt, accurate and tasty. It is a roadside diner, so there is a lot of comfort food and portions were very adequate. I loved the decor...country at its best!

We celebrated my husbands birthday at the star! Jen is awesome... she is really the best server! Also lisa and kate and jodi and daphne and olga are also sooo wonderful with all the customers!! Our favorite place!!!
