We made this a last minute stop on our way out of town from a long vacation. We were glad we did. We stopped for breakfast and boy it didn't disappoint. After reading several reviews we decided to stop here. The service was speedy and the food was hot. Our waitress must have been having an off day because I don't think we ever saw a smile as she was just kind of there doing her job. But that didn't take away from the great food and the cool decor in the restaurant. Pancakes are as big as the plate. Sausage patties were good. There red potatoes are a must. Bacon was nice and crispy. The scrambled eggs were average. You need to stop by and give this place a shot. It's a hidden gem in the area.

The staff is so friendly. We were in the area for 2 months and ate here several times. The server/owner was very friendly and enjoyed my husbands weird sense of humor. The portions are large, prices are fair and homemade soups...yum. The pea soup was delicious and the vegetable was a favorite of mine. Itâs not a fancy place, but we recognized lots of regulars eat there. We will remember this restaurant when we return to the area next year.

We have been here many times. They fry the best pork chops in America. Soup of the day varies. Today's was Chili, and it came as a side to my lunch. Place is always filled with locals and regulars, but all are equally welcomed by the staff.
