This has to be one of the best hole-in-the-wall places in the Dearborn area! They serve quality diner/pub food and the best coney dogs in the area. Their meat is from Dearborn Ham (a local meat processor), which makes the coneys taste amazing! If you want a great meal at a great price this is the place to go!

We had lunch here before going to The Henry Ford museum. Started with chili which was ok, not as good as I make at home but whatever. Then we had a chili dog and split an order of fries. Both were very good. Our waitress Nyle was helpful and friendly.

Walking into this place, you feel like you stepped back in time, which is pretty cool. We came here to try their Coney dogs but unfortunately we didn't really appreciate them. Sausage casing was too hard in my opinion and the chili just makes it very soggy. Quite popular at lunchtime.

My buddy and I decided to visit this restaurant based upon our Tripadvisor family. It was an excellent choice. Both he and I love hash, so he ordered the corned beef variety, two eggs and toasted rye bread. The hash is house made, not canned, with a generous portion of the corned beef with onions and green peppers along with fresh cut potatoes. Since this is a Greek Coney Island, I took a chance and asked if gyros could be substituted for the corned beef. I received a questionable look from our server but it only took her a moment to say, I think we can do that. It appeared to me no one had ever asked for the meat exchange. The gyros was a perfect match up for the hash. I also ordered two eggs over medium and rye toast, grilled, not toasted. Both of our meals were prepared exactly as ordered. I'm always glad when my buddy tells me I picked a good place for breakfast.

...it's more than all right, it's excellent. I visited my brother in Detroit last week and we came to the Dime Store twice for breakfast. The first day I had the Spicy Belly Benny, pork belly on a biscuit topped w/two eggs and hollandaise sauce. I loved it. The second time I had the Duck Bop Hash, duck over home fries topped w/two eggs. It was maybe bit salty for me, but still delicious. Their regular omelettes also looked good, but their Bennys and Hash dishes were great. Nice environment, good service, fair prices. I don't think you can beat this place for a quality breakfast.

This little diner inside The Henry Ford does a great job of providing a period accurate restaurant from 1946. The furniture, furnishings, dress, and even the menu appear accurate for that time and allows you to immerse yourself in a trip back in time. The menu is limited which is also accurate for the period. I tried to order a diet soda but they don't serve them because they did not exist in 1946. The food was pretty good diner food - I had a simple ham and cheese sandwich. Lot's of fun!
