We stayed at the Kronenhof with a half-board arrangement so didn't really have a choice once there. But we were extremely happy with it, as dinner became our daily highlight. The food is outstanding, among the best anywhere. Service is of equally high standards, very professional but also warm and thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Went for a Christmas Eve dinner at the Kempinski to their Michelin star Restaraunt.... had the amuse bouche to start with which was nothing to write home about .... then came the tuna with lime and caviar again below average ... then duet of crab and sea urchin .... then a risotto followed by a fish which was inedible and some average desert .... would definitely strongly recommend not to go there as the food was below average .... hope they get their act together and not sure how they got a Michelin star ....

Purporting to be a high quality restaurant requiring a high standard of dress code, the food was excellent but the waiters reminded us of Faulty Towers as they were confused as to which tables they were meant to serve, and ended up having to be requested to provide table service.
