Baita Sofie is a short walk from the Seceda station and has a superb view down the mountain. On a nice day, sitting outside is wonderful (if you can get a table outside).We came here because Tripadvisor listed it as "#1 of 46 Restaurants in Ortisei". While the food was good, I don't think it's the best restaurant in Ortisei. I had the pasta carbonara, which was good but I've had better elsewhere.

FIRST: Do NOT trust Google Maps to find it. They know it you will discover it: you will get lost on the mountain.... just ask instead, easySECOND: typical local food with very good attention to service, quality, friendliness - you will feel at home while tasting it
