Had to come here early Sunday morning for breakfast (had corned beef hash, fish platter) and got mouth watering food (lox and cream cheese, bagels, cod, chopped liver) to break the fast for Wednesday night! Looking forward to feasting on delicious food soon! Thank you!

The food there is great. I especially like the Chile Omelet. The pastrami is world famous. Don't go there after 3:00 p.m. because they close at 4:00 p.m. and after 4:00 p.m. the neighborhood transforms into a very dangerous area. I made the mistake of parking to eat there are 4:00 p.m. one day not knowing that they closed at 4:00 p.m. and when I went back to my car someone was trying to break in.

This is one of those diners that is kind of noisy, frequently crowded, and just overall fun to eat at. The food is delicious and plentiful (oh, those burgers...), the coffee keeps flowing, the hostesses and wait staff are all so very friendly and on the spot with service, the prices fair... We ate at the counter because it was crowded but enjoyed every minute of it. You'll recognize this well-maintained diner from the movies as several have been filmed there. Wonderful place to eat!
