Michael's is hidden behind Fazzone law and the Watch Factory on Elm St. Nice place and the guys running it are personable. Good specials and good coffee. A bit pricey but, I drank to big coffees and their hash special was very good. I'd definitely go here over Peter's. If I'm in the area I'll try it again. Oh, not food related but, they play music that I haven't listened to since the 70's. Hahahaha a little flash back going on there. Anyways give it a try.

As a vegetarian and now watching my white-carbs intake, my finding something tasty to eat is often a challenge. At our Cheshire Subway South, I always get good service, comfortable seating, and a chop-salad as substitute to the delicious 12" subs I usually buy. The chopped veggie salad can include whatever I choose for vegetables, cheese, and dressing and is usually more than I can eat at one sitting.

3. Lora's Italian Deli

I wanted a quick bite so I stopped in and, watching calories, asked for a plate of prosciutto, mozzarella and tomatoes with a drizzle of olive oil and that's just what I got from Lora, who is Italian. The atmosphere is not conducive to dining as a TV blares in the corner, although the deli's not really a destination but more of a take-out.

The Notch is fun to visit. Full of locals, a country store. It has a loyal following, old fashioned feel and look. Great doughnuts on Sunday mornings! .
