It is the capital of the Uherské Hradiště District. The town itself has a population of 25,454 (2011 census). The agglomeration with the two neighbouring towns of Staré Město and Kunovice has over 38,000 people.

Po delÅ¡Ã dobÄ jsme opÄt navÅ¡tÃvili tuto restauraci v KunovÃcÃch a byli jsme naprosto neuvÄÅitelnÄ mile pÅekvapeni. Restaurace upravili nabÃdku jÃdel a urÄitÄ to byl krok v pÅed, jelikož výbÄr jÃdel je naprosto dostaÄujÃcà - každý si najde své. ProstÅedà restaurace je pÅÃjemné a obsluha sympatická ikdyž se jedná o dámy ve stÅednÃm vÄku. Objednané jÃdlo bylo v pÅimÄÅené dobÄ pÅipraveno a pÅedloženo na náš stůl. A pak to zaÄalo - naprostý výbuch chutÃ, vůnÃ, požitku jÃdla na pohled - prostÄ dokonalé :-) byli jsme uneÅ¡eni z toho jak výborné jÃdlo jsme dostali a jak jsme si dokonale pochutnali. Můžeme jen a jen doporuÄit a pro nás v tuto dobu jedna z top restauracà v okolà UH. na 1000% doporuÄujeme vÅ¡em :-)mÄli jsme pÅÃrodnà medaljlonky z vepÅové kotlety s cuketovým pyré s peÄenými brambory a vepÅová panenka v chlebové krustÄ s grilovanou zeleninou a medvÄdÃm Äesnekem a nakonec dokonalý dezert v podobÄ opravdu domácÃho tvarohového MÃÅ¡i :-)

A delicious meal with great fraught beer. The location by the canal was idyllic. The staff didn't rush us and found a waitress who spoke English so we could order. They only had one of the five fish dishes available which was a shame. Had to pay for tap water (though it did come with a lemon!)A really nice place for a lovely meal!

I have visited this restaurant couple of times during last month for different reasons. Every time I was more than satisfied. Excellent fresh beer "Velkopopovicky Kozel" and Pilsner Urquell plus few sorts of cider, very good cuisine (go for wild boar steak or veal neck) and very attentive waitress make this restaurant one of the top in this region.

Lovely looking restaurant with excellent and fast staff service. Ordered form lunch menu which was well priced. Soup and main meals were good. Free jug of water was offered on arrival. Great if you want to have a quick lunch in nice environment.
