Coffee 53 is located within Pruhonice Park at the castle, it’s a great place to sit with a coffee and something sweet mid morning or mid afternoon. On my last visit I had a light lunch of the soup of the day (traditional fish soup with leaks and sea bass). The broth was flavorful and loaded with leaks and onions with several very large pieces of fish (I felt like there was both salmon and sea bass) it was hardly and held me over for several hours of additional walking. Service was great, staff was friendly and spoke excellent English providing good service in a relaxing and friendly environment. I’ve already recommended to friends.

After our visit of Pruhonice park we were looking for a decent restaurant to have some lunch. Unfortunately it's almost impossible to find an economical restaurant in Pruhonice. Even pizzas or pancakes are overpriced! We had to ask the locals to advise us where to eat. The restaurant V Holi is about 500m far from the town centre but it's worth the walk or, if you prefer, there is a bus stop right in front of the restaurant called V Holi as well. The restaurant has got a beautiful shady garden with a small playground. They offer tasty Czech cousin. Great servise, very helpful, polite and fast. Big portions, good prises. Would deffinitely recommend it!

This restaurant was like a fairytale for us- beautiful unesco park outside, great (and handsome) service, speaks english, has English menu and the food!!! Oh my gooood!!! Just wonderful!! We have been in the place recommend as number one on trip advisor a day before and went away very disappointed, we found this place today and didn't wanted to go out! Food was the best we have eaten in Tsjekkia, dessert was amazing, coffee to die for, cold beer on their magical terrace was excellent. Don't leave the town before you visited this place!! They have a big parking too!! Prices are much lower than the "pizza place" and the food you get is 100 times better. Cant wait to come back:)

We stopped at the restaurant for Saturday lunch. We had some beef, grilled vegetables, chicken. All well prepared and very tasty. Great customer service too!Thank you for your visit and we are happy that you enjoyed the meal in our restaurant. We look forward to your next visit :-)!

Perhaps one of the best restaurants on the outskirts of Prague, in a quaint little town of Pruhonice. The restaurant is situated just below the Castle.Menu is excellent and we will most certainly return in the future.This Restaurant has been renamed "Pod Zamken" and has been totally refurbished.A definite 5-Star experience ...........

This restaurant was recommended tous, so we went here. Inside was rather cold, the heating was turned on after we asked to do so. Got a blanket but in such restaurant? Ordered food, soup "kulajda" very good, as a second received different than ordered. Instead vegetarian burger good beef burger. Fortunately we are not vegetarians, wanted to try only. Ribs very good. Service polite. To conclude, the restaurant looks very good but so many mistakes.

An old Czech Restaurant, the walls of the old house are mud brick, hence the name which means that, literally. Set by a lake you can sit in or outside. The service is excellent, the food outstanding so don't expect (or ask for!) chips with everything. A good wine list, many Czech speciality dishes, ideal for a business lunch of you want to impress or an evening to be romantic. If you are going with a party, plan ahead because the house speciality is to BBQ your choice of meats or cook over wood, sheep, beef baron, duck, pig or whatever, bought by the kilo weight and cooked to perfection. Good for parties of 20 or so, or just yourself, it makes no difference....I recommend the steak, medium rare means just that.....

Visiting my son who lives close by - we always choose to go there. Excellent in most aspects bur the some elements of the service stopped me giving it top marks - the wrong dishes were served up on two occasions and they only had one bottle of the selected wine. All other aspects of the service and the food were terrific as always.
