Our breakfast, lunch and dinner were here at El Sendero. Waiter Gabriel and waitress Konnie were exceptional. Chef visited our table. He obviously takes pride in his food and presentation. Prices are reasonable, food was tasty and well prepared. This restaurant has been a Costa Rican institution for decades. Travellers going from San José to the San Carlos region traditionally have breakfast here, but the Typical food menu is extensive and everything is delicious. The best part, though, is the loving, polite and excellent service. A must-do when in this part of the country.

A meal of kings, the meat is juicy and with a good taste in the exact term and the garnishes are made with high quality products and the aromas are exquisite. Entramos a este lugar xq cada vez q pasábamos se veÃa muy acogedor y pues era mas de lo q esperabamos.. Sitio no muy grande pero tampoco pequeño con un concepto entre moderno y vintage, con excelente aseo y los meseros con buena presentación .Nos tomó por sorpresa llegar y poder disfrutar del Happy hour !!cócteles grandes y deliciosos, el bartender(VÃctor )muy amable nos obsequio de cortesia un shot del trago de la casa hecho a base de Coco muy Bueno.. El menú tiene de todo un poco con precios justos a lo q sirven se puede decir q hasta la ensalada estaba Super fresca... En conclusión es un lugar para toda ocasión y nosotros encantados y ansiosos por volver... Como dato adicional puedo agregar q existe este local en Cuidad Quesada, y otro en San Ramón q esperamos visitar y topar con la misma calidad de servicio.

very good restaurant, they have a good selection of options mostly Mexican. The food is very tasty, looks exactly like the pictures and tastes amazing. Prices are very good and drinks are delicious.

I visited this restaurant for the first time, enjoying a late lunch with my wife. The restaurant is a combination of adjacent steakhouse and sushi restaurants. Small and cozy, the appearance is modern with a pleasant atmosphere. The food is delcious and the service excellent. Prices are very reasonable. The strawberry mojitos were superb, not too sweet. This restaurant is a welcome addition in this small city, and I look forward to returning. Well done !
