Dined here with several friends during a weekâs stay in Jackson Hole. The decor is lovely â but greeting was pretty cool. Waitress was efficient for our large group. Salads were good, but not great. My companion had a filet which was delicious. I had their New York cut steak â which was disappointing. Too much fat and, frankly, gristle in it. Two friends also had New York cut steaks. Theirs, I am told, were very good. Excellent baked potato and asparagus. Tasty desserts. But, alas, one of the steaks in this renowned steak house was tough. I should have complained. Also very pricey.

We were literally on the sleigh in a blizzard, but we were all still laughing! We asked our friendly, talkative(informative) driver to pick up the pace a bit, it was THAT cold. They do provide blankets! He obliged and got us back to the hotel quicker than a usual sleigh ride, but we were ready for the hot toddy's at the Granary. Our sleigh ride and dinner were a package. The restaurant was empty due to the weather, we had a cocktail in the bar and then went downstairs and the 6 of us sat at a table in front of the huge fireplace. Every table has a great view of the valley below (even in the white out it was beautiful). Dinner was great, the meal package had a LOT to choose from. Service and presentation of the dishes was wonderful.
