We had a friend from out of town and had a great dinner at Satterfieldâs. Very nice atmosphere, service, and food. The scallops with coconut curry white chocolate sauce are great. We had dinner for the family in a private room on Friday after Thanksgiving. The staff was warm and friendly and very nicely accomodated our party of 12. The food was very good with a nice variety of offerings. The "3 sides" selection was enjoyed by several of us and offers a nice tasting opportunity with enough to share. The wine selection was good and not overwhelming. i would return for dinner. Also, had breakfast each morning and the buffet was above average for hotel breakfast buffets.

Whenever I was in Hoover visiting, this was one friendâs favorite spot to grab lunch. It seems to be a quite popular place based on customers filling their tables. I usually get a salad and I have tried the southern salad which is like a fried chicken salad with pecans, avocado greens and ranch dressing...very tasty and fresh; the Cesear salad and soup of the day, also good and I tried the French dip on another visit. A good sandwich when Iâm ready to not count carbs! My lunch companion usually gets a burger of some sort which must be good, as that is his lunch choice most days. I would say they food is good and the service has always been excellent but be prepared to pay. Our bill is always around $40 for two with tea. Salads are around $15-$18 and sandwiches can be pricey as well. The atmosphere is a little dark, which I find soothing in the middle of a hot summer day. Plenty of parking available.
