Where to start?Choice of drinks for aperitifs, brilliant. Service - attentive, helpful, efficient, knowledgeable...Food- extraordinary. Probably the best meal I have eaten in France and I've eaten a few at excellent restaurants including a few Michelin starred ones.The fusion of flavours set it apart. So often the French are so parochial but this was the best of French with some additional flavour. Setting was amazing.We have a 6 year old and she had the steak with chips and veg, yes veg in a restaurant in France- incroyable. She ate the lot!Can't fault this place on any front. Keep up the great work and see you again in 2 years.

This café is charming. Huge variety of salads, tartines, tartes, moules and pizzas. Service is fast and effective, waiters can have a lot of personality in an aggressive but not off-putting sense. Great wines and beers, good place to hang out with friends.merci pour votre venue au vieux café,et merci pour votre commentaire â¦â¦ mais pour info nous n'avons pas de "moules " à la carte !un large choix de bières à la pression , en bouteilles, pour les amateurs de bonnes bières â¦et concernant le serveur je vais faire ma petite enquête â¦..bon séjour en France

This place has completely turned itself around. We have visited in both winter and summer, and on warm summers evening the place truly comes into its own, sitting on the terrace eating the very best of light, delicate dishes, friendly service and fine wines. Happy to return to this over and over again, and recommend it to friends.Dear Mrs & Mr Todd, One more time, it had been a pleasure to welcoming you back in our gastronomic restaurant. Enjoyed lunch here and although I donât normally go for âedible artâ I must say that every mouthful - and there were two additional âgratuitâ small taster dishes - were bursting with flavour. Much has been made in previous reports about meals being âoverpricedâ. I have to say that 50 euros a head with just one glass of wine, can only be described as expensive. That being said I am not familiar with having five small courses, beautifully prepared with quite such delicious taste so I am not sure what I am comparing this meal to, cost wise?My only criticism (and this is typical of most French restaurants) is that the steak was not tender - it was tasty but chewy. But, as I say this is not at all unusual in France. I would go back for a special treat but this is not an âevery dayâ restaurant.Thank you for sharing your culinary experience about our restaurant. We are delighted that you enjoyed the dishes prepared by our chef.Regarding your remark on rates, we specify that we offer menus during the week, at noon (including Saturday) from â¬19 up to â¬28.The other menus seem to us to have an excellent quality/price ratio .(seasonal and local products).Looking forward to welcome you once again.
