We found this hiding away at the end of our visit unfortunately. It is by far the nicest places in the area. The staff are very friendly, a lovely father and son manning the place. A nice place to wind down surrounded by a lovingly restored place. We only stopped to have a bottle of wine as we'd already eaten, but all the food going passed looked amazing. Will definitely return to sample. and we will be happy to have guests, wonderful people as you honor us, thank you

If the wooden doors are closed, ring the doorbell. The salad and lamb chops were fine as was the Prosecco and Montepulciano but the tagliolini with truffles was not. The truffles had no flavor at all. As if they had come out of a cellophane bag. Paper would taste about as good. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. But not really worth a second try.

Family had been before and said it was good so they booked it for a family meal, there were 8 of us, they only bought out 7 starters then 7 mains, wasn't that busy so don't know how they made a mistake on both courses. Meat was good but we weren't keen on the pasta dishes. Staff were friendly though and they did apologise and give us some money of our bill because of the mistakes.Aspettavo questa recensione...decisamente!Cominciamo con il ricordare alla signora che la sera incriminata,aldilà del fatto che il locale (45 posti a sedere) contava più di 35 persone e non era così propriamente vuoto come asserisce,ricordiamo inoltre che era in corso l'evento ANTEPRIMA PERLAGE 2015,di cui erano stati informati all'atto della prenotazione e per cui tutti i ristoranti del centro storico proponevano un menù degustazione (il nostro era di 3 portate e calici di bollicine),pertanto essendo una serata degustazione non veniva proposto il menù alla carta.Cara signora lei è arrivata prima degli altri chiedendo immediatamente un martini con tonica (un prodotto che non serviamo nel nostro ristorante),in alternativa al suo atteggiamento in partenza stizzito, le abbiamo servito un altro cocktail che le è stato oltretutto offerto.Si è opposta al menù degustazione nonostante fosse stata avvertita ed ha preteso la carta per 7 persone.Nonostante tutti gli ospiti del ristorante fossero presenti per l'evento il suo tavolo è stato accontentato pur anticipando che avreste potuto incorrere in ritardi vista la prerogativa a chi ha prenotato l'evento ma soprattutto al fatto che la cucina sarebbe stata stravolta.7 persone al suo tavolo: 1°portata 7 piatti diversi misti tra antipasti e primi (e solo uno gnocco fatto in casa è arrivato con un minuto di ritardo);2°portata altri 7 piatti misti tra primi e secondi (anche questa volta il filetto alla brace è arrivato esagerando con 5 minuti di ritardo?) ma le ricordo che era stata avvertita.Comunque , morale della favola, non abbiamo ridato soldi indietro,solo è stato arrotondato il conto di qualche euro perchè,nonstante non credo ci siano stati errori grossolani,due dei vostri commensali sono clienti abituali ed ho voluto fare una gentilezza nei loro confronti,niente dippiù.In quanto alla pasta...bè...avevate davvero tanta tanta tanta fame se l 'avete divorata tutta...e devo credere a questo punto che i complimenti ricevuti erano mediocri prese in giro?beh grazie davvero!Vorrei solo darle un consiglio....umiltà ...un pò più di umiltà ...Un'ultima nota....parlo e capisco molto bene l'inglese anche se al tavolo parlavo in italiano ed il consiglio è quello di chiedersi e di non dare mai per scontato chi si ha di fronte...l'educazione è la prima forma di civiltà ! abbiamo riservato il massimo dell attenzione stravolgendo l'iter della serata solo ed esclusivamente per una sua richiesta...e i capricci non danno diritto ad una recensione che dista anni luci dalla realtà dei fatti!comunque grazie per averci recensito e torni presto a trovarci!
