Even on a rainy day it was lovely to visit the Boatshed for breakfast, with a warm and friendly welcome from the staff. I enjoyed the corn fritters with bacon, poaches eggs, tomato relish and spinach, while my husband had the eggs benedict with smoked salmon, and our friends both had a green bowl. The cakes in the fridge looked so good (and freshly house made) that I wished I had room to try one!

We tried this new cafe on their first day and they nailed it. The coffee is a medium roast with good strength and worthy of a second cup.The eggs were perfectly cooked on an egg and bacon roll as well as on the eggs Benedict, the young (female) chef plating up quickly and precisely on a busy day. I've been back 4 times in a week and it's been a pleasure every time.

Had two meals at this restaurant and both fantastic. Would thoroughly recommend the seafood platter for two....nicely presented with plenty to eat and good price.The staff added to the occasion on both visits, staff very young but very professional and went out of their way to assist during the meal....and with a good laugh as well
