The motto of the husband-and-wife owners, Andrea and Barbara Piccinini, is âOspiti, non Clientiâ, and from the moment we walked in to this tiny restaurant we felt as if we were welcomed into their home.While Barbara did her magic in the kitchen, Andrea brought us many amazing dishes, each with an explanation as to what was what, and what came from where. There wany small servings, each as different and as delicious as the previous â and all examples of the local cuisine. Most of the ingredients came from local vegetable gardens, and much came in the form of wild herbs and vegetables gathered by Andrea from the nearby hills.Here are some of the tastings: Tomatoes with wild fennel; eggplant served with fresh pear; locally-made ricotta cheese with pistachio nuts; roasted pepperoni with potatoes; zucchini and carrot soup with barley; grilled cheese with honey and hazelnuts; barley risotto with wild herbs, almonds and lemon rind. We drank a delicious Cerasuolo rosé and a hearty red Montepulciano dâAbruzzo.Yes, exact Guests of our little house, we thank you for your words.The commitment to always do well and better.A dear greeting Mr Miguel!! ^ _ ^A & B.

While we were in Abruzzo during the summer time we ate in many places and enjoyed many restaurants but this is really a wonderful place. Great food, friendly staff, cosy atmosphere. The restaurant had been just open for one week and yet everything was perfect. A besteller. Warm regards from Belgio.Avere ospiti stranieri è per noi abbastanza abituale. Da quando abbiamo aperto abbiamo ospitato perone dell'Europa, degli USA, del Canada..... Li abbiamo sempre coccolati con i ns. buoni cibi, gli ottimi vini.... ed i dolci deliziosi. Tutti ci hanno dimostrato il loro apprezzamento... anche con "macie" super.

As saffron is a speciality of the Abruzzo region, for our primi, we had the saffron spaghetti with cream and bacon; and the saffron pappardelle with zucchini and creamy parmigiana sauce. For our secondi, we had the lamb chops with baked potato; and the beef casserole with herbs from the Abruzzo region. For our dolce, we had the cream of custard with saffron with biscotti di solina; and the fragole with lemon and sugar. We enjoyed a 2017 Montepulciano dâAbruzzo âEmilio Pepeâ, which was a vino biologico. This was a great, typical meal of the region and the service was excellent. The restaurant was a short drive from our Abruzzo Segretto B&B.

You can eat here, and the owner can cook when it comes to it.Unfortunately hardly ever customers, so you notice this in the menu on offer. So everybody moves to the restaurants nearby, like Sapori di Campagna near OffenaGentile Sashapraha,Lei ha recensito la nostra struttura quando ancora non era pronta a dare un servizio ai clienti. La invito a tornare nel nostro ristorante e spero che riuscirà a cambiare idea.Cordiali saluti
