It is the neighbour of Colva village from the north, Margao in the northeast and Varca village from the south. During the Portuguese regime, it was one of the nine comunidades in the region of Salcete. Contemporary Benaulim is a popular seaside resort in South Goa district, renowned for its balmy weather, golden sands, and palm‑fringed beaches. It also houses Goa's only Don Bosco Animation Center. It is the birthplace of St. Joseph Vaz who was a priest and missionary in Sri Lanka.There are two popular churches in Benaulim. The Holy Trinity Church is a new church built with modern design near the beach area close to Maria Hall Junction, while St John the Baptist Church is old church popular for baptising St. Joseph Vaz. visited this restaurant on 01/10/2019,faced a long wait for my food after placing the order,but was very impressed with the personalized touch of the team.They made up for the long delay with complimentary scoops of delicious ice cream,the food was a bit oily for my liking but still would like to visit again on my next trip.

Second time here, driving through the lanes of Margao, came across The Chikoo Tree Project. It is time to write about it.Here is the feedback:1. Ambience Casual yet modern and contemporaryThe dining tables are pretty neat with newspapers articles all over 2. Food Quality First time ordered - Anda Bhurji Slightly different from the usual bhurji. Nice flavours of the ingredients. Overall well done.Second time - Masala Paddu / Ragi Dosa (Egg & Cheese)Well done on this dish and super healthyEnding the breakfast with a Robusta Coffee, couldnât have asked for anything more.Will certainly return for sure. Recommended for breakfast visits

Coffee Shop that serves artisan coffees and continental food. Exhibition space for young artists to showcase their work. We also have a Vinyl appreciation club and book library. A hideaway where you can chill, unwind and suspend reality.

Makes for a great spot for a quiet afternoon with a couple of friends over some amazing salads and home-made desserts, or sit back with a cup of coffee with a nice book while the music plays in the background! 18/10 would totally recommend for all kinds of moods and days.

Great restaurant to relax over breakfast. Lovely homemade biscuits for elevenses. Smiling attentive staff make the place. I love the constant struggle between the sneaky crows and the diligent 'crow scarer'.
