Tiruchirappalli ( pronunciation (help·info)) (formerly Trichinopoly in English), also called Tiruchi or Trichy, is a major tier II city in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu and the administrative headquarters of Tiruchirappalli District. Trichy is the third largest city by area and fourth largest city by population in tamilnadu. It is the fourth largest municipal corporation and the fourth largest urban agglomeration in the state. Located 322 kilometres (200 mi) south of Chennai and 379 kilometres (235 mi) north of Kanyakumari, Tiruchirappalli sits almost at the geographic centre of the state. The Kaveri Delta begins 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) west of the city where the Kaveri river splits into two, forming the island of Srirangam, which is now incorporated into the Tiruchirappalli City Municipal Corporation. Occupying 167.23 square kilometres (64.57 sq mi), the city was home to 916,857 people in 2011.

While the food was excellent, the price was a big surprise. It was quite low for comparable food and service in that area. The location is exactly opposite the Central Bus Station. The service was efficient and quick. This provides a stiff competition to two other very good restaurants beside it.

I had only one dinner in this restaurant and was really nice: a classical chicken tandoori and some cauliflower. Well prepared, not salty, fresh food. Price a little bit over that standard, but not a greatd deal. Not at walkable distance from the main road, and the road is not very nice in the evening, but don't give out :-) it's one of the few and good non-veg places in that area.Hello Sir,Thank you for spending your valuable time for the detail review. Very disappointed by our one night stay at this dingy Overpriced hotdlt.Only plus is location close to city center but the place was stuffy,unclean sheets and towels.Very slow check in and poor service.For INR 5000 I expected a lot more especially since it was advertised as high end lemon tree hotel.Save your money and stay in some other small botique hotel
