4.0 star rating4/11/2016Been a while since we've been there. I forgot about the sushi bar. LOVED it! So many choices to select and very tasty. That's all I had. I never remember the names, dang me. However, I recall my new favorite having bean curd. So refreshing and tasty. Funny how the first one I had didn't have much cream cheese, the my next trip to the bar, the one I chose had much more cream cheese, which I don't really care for. Also loved the eel rolls. Delicious!On a separate note, while I was washing my hands in the ladies room, a fellow patron and her child emerged from the stall and headed straight out without washing their hands. I and another patron in the ladies room were pretty grossed out. Just beware patrons, that not everyone is hygiene conscious so wash your hands constantly throughout your visits to restaurants, especially buffets. This woman and her child returned to the buffet. Yowza!Anyhoo, thank you staff at Hibachi! Great food, great service, and love those lit up trees!I'm thrilled that you've always enjoyed our buffet, Becca, and that our sushi is such a favorite of yours. Some of the more pricey and less fried dishes, like eggplant tofu, are no longer carried at some locations. There is no telling until you walk in and they tell you to drive to the other location across town. I do realize it is American/Chinese with a drive thru, but it seems they are missing the chance to have healthier options. If I wanted chicken nuggets covered in sauce, I would go to McDonalds.

First of all, don't judge this restaurant from the outside. It is in a shopping center, but once you step through the doors it is very nice inside...more so than your average Chinese Restaurant. The service was very good throughout the meal. Their menu is quite extensive and reasonably priced. They are generous with their portions and everything is very fresh. The quality is here! Everything we ate on our combination plates was excellent. It was so good that we cleaned our plates rather than take it home. We left stuffed! I look forward to coming back soon and trying more selections. Definitely the best Chinese food around.

There are only about 4 Chinese restaurants that are worth eating at in Modesto and this is definitely one of them.Not get me wrong many are okay but this and 3 others are of the quality food and service variety.The huge mugs are always filled with your favorite beverage.The menu variety is large and you can chose from beef,pork,chicken and sea food dishes to name a few.The courses start with soup,then appetizers and then the main dishes.I'd recommend the walnut prawns,beef broccoli and hot/sour soup to name a few,but all of the food has been great.Make me want to go back tonight and probably will!!!!

This Panda Express had the same food as others in the chain, so if you like Panda Express, you will like the food at this location. I stopped by because I really like the string bean chicken breast dish! I stopped at this location as it was right off the freeway as we were driving thru for a quick lunch. The food was good, the service was fast, but the restaurant is in a busy parking lot that has a Costco. This is the only downside to this location.

My first time to this restaurant. Went with my sister on Sept 25, 2015. We ordered the family dinner (served for 2 or more). Took 1/2 of it with us to finish the next day. Definitely got or monies worth. My picture will show you how much food there was. Can't beat the price. All the food was good. Service began ok but then it was like we were forgotten about. Others who came in after us got their food before us. Then after we did get our food we were not checked on again. Had to hunt someone down to get more hot tea. And to get our check. I live out of town and we didn't have other plans so we were catching up on things and talking so it wasn't a big deal. But it did reduce the tip that was left. (We are both big tippers). Would eat here again.

Well, this is unbelievable. From the outside, we hesitated to enter. It looked like a cheap Chinese fast food. We however entered, to check it out. Inside was not better but our Chinese friends has a quick talk with the lady owner and felt confident we would eat well.And to our biggest surprise, the food was just perfect, excellent, pleasing fully our Chinese friends, me included. The portions are large and every dish we ordered, from shrimps to pork, beef and chicken, was delicious. The prices are ridiculously low and the lady owner could not have been nicer and attentive to our wishes.This is a fantastic place. Anywhere else, this restaurant would cost at leat time as much and would not serve such a great food.Kudos, kudos and kudos.

By far my favorite Chinese place in the area. Their garlic chicken is awesome. It's usually not very packed so it's a quiet place to dine.
