Visited Eden for a business trip and thought a chinese meal sounds good.When to the local restaurant Golden Ocean Chinese and ordered take away.Firstly wasnât given cutlery for my take away meal and therefore had to ask at my motel.Ordered a mixed entree but was not provided any dipping sauce (sweet & sour) or anything for that matter, so quite dry.Then a special fried rice and another dish, iâm not a fussy eater and love chinese food but this was very very average food.I would defiantly not return again nor recommend to others visiting.

We knew there werenât a great deal of places to have dinner in Eden so finding Nimo Chinese restaurant wasnât difficult. When we arrived, we had second thoughts of going in. We found an old motel restaurant that typically looked like a motel scene in the horror movies of the 80âs. However our doubts were quickly replaced by a huge relief when we saw the warm Chinese interior. The eat-in main menu had a strange resemblance to a cafe take-away and we accidentally found the entree menu in a small plastic stand on the table. My husband had a bottle of beer without a beer glass as they only use glass tumblers. We had mongolian beef, sweet and sour pork and stir fried noodles. The dishes were all tasty like you would normally expect from a chinese restaurant but the food were very salty and the rice was cold. The service was slow although the restaurant wasnât full. My thoughts? Nimo Chinese restaurant is an average family Chinese restaurant for a sleepy one-horse town that is expensive.

Excellent. The Chilipadi restaurant has the option of Chinese, Malaysian, Thai or Australian food. The current operators have been there now just over a year and really serve up great food. Excellent menu, value for money and good friendly service. A very comfortable place to dine.
