My partner really wasn't keen to go here partly 'cos of the look of the place from outside. But don't let that put you off. Place is clean and bright , staff polite and helpful. My partner had calamari egg fried rice as main and stated it was wonderful , the best in years. This sounds silly but the real stand out item was the egg fried rice it was fab , cooked to perfection and fluffy and tasty the best rice I've eaten. I would happily recommend this place . I do have one niggle and that is there is no separate smoking area , non smokers have to put up with other dinners smoking at the next table after they finish their meal. Thankfully it was quiet and we were able to move away from smokers to eat.

There is an extensive menu with the choice of Indian, Chinese, Gambian + even a few English dishes. V friendly staff, owners I think from Jaipur. We chose from the Kanzani(?) section:the fish balls which weren't balls + were much tastier than they'd sounded, the chicken methi plus a rice and butter naan, all to share. We felt we didn't need a starter and, in fact, they brought out some nibbles +two dips. Good choice of drinks. A great meal, tasty, excellent value plus attentive friendly staff. Location :more or less opposite Ocean Bay Hotel. We'll be back.

Not a particularly nice restaurant to sit in. The shabby table cloths are not the cleanest. The order arrived incorrect but we were at the stage not to argue. The food was plentiful so arrive very hungry - it is very bland food. It was cheap at 800 dalasi for the two of us. I did not particularly enjoy watching one of the staff/friends of owner sitting picking her nose for 10 minutes whilst we were waiting on our food to arrive at the table. It as below average and there are better places to eat in Gambia - I know.
