on our way backed to Rome we decided to stop by in Nepi to enjoyed this small town. the restaurant receives excellent review above 70% and so made our mind to dine here. we were really satisfied with the food and the service. we actually came 45 minutes earlier than their opening hours, but the staff let us to order. the location is also very great, as not so far from public parking are of Nepi town. Finalmente! Un posto dove mangiare dei panini eccezionali.Tutto perfetto, dal pane alle verdure, passando per mozzarella e tanto altro. Una buona scelta di carni varie, non per me :). Caldi, pieni, buoni e con materie prime al top!La professionalità del propietario (Fabio) vi sorprenderà ...Un posto ove fermarsi se di passaggio o venirci apposta a fare due passi nella storia.

Interesting little cafe, specialising in air dried cured meats. Plenty of choice and inexpensive.Lovely waitresses who spoke English to help me when my Italian faltered.This is the small sharing platter.Do not miss the place if you're in Viterbo.

I ate on this restaurant while i was on my peregrine trip. They made a very good risotto with prosecco and small pieces of meat.

Since Cantina del Drago opened, it has come on in leaps and bounds. Probably a year since we last went there and we will certainly go there again. The menu has been revamped and the food was excellent. The "tasting menu/menu dégustation" enables guests to try, by serving small portions, of all the dishes on the menu. For me a really good option as i am not a big eater. Every single item was beautifully served and equally delicious. One in our party oped for the a la carte menu and he too was not at all disappointed. The staff are polite, friendly and helpful, as is the owner. I am gluten free, but this was not a problem and items were adapted for me. The main question from the waiter regarding this was if I was celiac or just gluten intolerant. Fortunately it is the latter. The wine, chosen by one of our friend, Habemus, was excellent and we had a long discussion with the owner about it. Price-wise affordable since for four people, including water, bottle of wine three menu dégustation and one a la carte, (comprised of starter, main and desert) and coffee it was euro192.00, of which 65 was for the bottle of wine. In the summer it is possible to eat outside and the restaurant is situated in an old palazzo in Sutri. he building itself is also interesting and like so many of the dwellings in the town there are many basement levels.

We visited this place when we arrived in Italy on the first evening, it was late and it was the first place we came across. With just an Italian menu and some help by Google Translate we ordered! It was delicious! The pizzas were gobbled down by the kids and my Pasta (Matriciana) was delicious. This unpretentious, family-run trattoria specialises in locally sourced food, served unfussily with respect for the quality of the ingredients. Much of it is the characteristic cucina of the Lazio hill country â hearty pasta and meat dishes, incomparable salumi â but there is also fresh fish from the lake. The wine is good and inexpensive, and the atmosphere relaxed. The husband-and-wife team who run it are genuine and friendly. There was absolutely nothing fancy about the lunch we had here but it was one of the standout meals of our year.
