One negative thing about this hotel/restaurant is the fact that one can not pay with EC-cards other than German EC-cards....is this Europe?? The first time I had not that many cash with me; only cash was accepted...no European EC-cards, no VISA...The two experiences (lunches) we had here were great and tasteful; nice to sit there on a hot day, as it was last weeks. The service is excellent, the food is very well. The 'Kuchen' they served were the best (and most fresh) we have ever tasted and the lunch meals were of very good quality, too. The view is excellent, you can see the mountains with snow in Switserland as well. The restaurant is a meeting point for travellers and bikers, some routes lead to this hill. Great location!

We had lunch last Friday in this bresserie and enjoyed their "Flammkuchen" an Alsacian speciality. You can choose from different toppings for this crispy thin breadshell. A light and healthy meal. We have been dining here before and the service is very friendly and the location is excellent, just opposite the Konstanz railways station.

located at the old market where there are another tow restaurants, a cinema and a convenience shop.the service is slow, but polite.the food is average: the vitello tonnato is, perhaps, its best choice. pasta is acceptable, but nothing from another planet. their gnocchis are below what should be expected.prices are slightly high. the breakfast list sounds good, with a large vaiety of eggs at reasonable prices, but i have been there twice, always for lunch.there are better places to eat in uberlingen.

The hotel is a 10 min cab ride from the lakefront marina. Itâs location in the hills assures fantastic views of Lake Constance. The hotel staff is very helpful and its restaurants breakfast was the best of our entire months stay on the lake. So happy that we ventured off the well-traveled tourist path to stay with the wonderful Keller family at their inn! The rooms are so comfortable, the food delicious and fresh (Markus emerging from the garden with the freshest ingredients moments before we enjoyed them), home made schnapps from Grandfather's recipe, a kind ride to the train - all perfect. We will be back!

Excellent traditional restaurant with a twist. Fine cooking using fresh local ingredients including a good choice of game and fish. Superb friendly service witha smile. Vast array of local wines and beers. This really is a restaurant not to miss. Always busy so you must book. All the locals will know about the restaurant but beacause its off the beaten track you wont find many tourists--maybe thats a good thing!!!

I don't know why I have not written a report on this wonderful Uberlingen institution before. I have visited the restaurant many, many times!!If you want traditional German hospitality combined with excellent, cooked just for you food then this is the place. Many locals eat here, the price being very fair plus great portion sizes. The chef/owner makes fresh potato rosti and then places a variety of superb ingredients on top. Such as, Pork, Steak, Fish, Vegetables plus also offering other home made dishes.Maybe I have not reported before because I would like to keep the place all to myself - but there you go, I've done it now. Hope I can still get in!!
