TLDR: PUKE.We sat there ordering 4 dishes shared amongst 4 people. The Schnitzel was eatable. The T-BONE steak was on the spectrum somewhere from "not fresh" to carcass. The tirol pan held very questionable meat. This is a wakeup call for a restaurant thinking it can serve spoiled products and remain active.

Tasty smoked bean soup. I chose to eat the cabbage with the pork steak and polenta... the cabbage was acceptable, the steak didnât have any taste and the polenta was very strange (it seemed to be reheated in boiled water and brought separately on a plate too big). If I wasn't really hungry I would probably be more critical.

Stopped here on the off chance as terrace looked good. We were lucky to have a table straight away.Service was good from the start and extreamly helpful. The pork schnitzel was excellent even though I had it with fries. Oh did have a seasonal salad The wine choice is extensive and good. Us sold wine by the glass which was perfect for me.Followed by apple pie and ice cream.Will recommend and return to this place. Food service. Good Food and well priced

We went to Sinaia in August 2019 and stayed at the "little Economat - At Tunuri", or more precisely at the former Guard Corps, because the real Economat has been closed for years (-). Also the villa Sipot (-), or the villa of the Knights (-) are closed, not to mention the hotel and restaurant Furnica (-)!At the restaurant below us, also called Economat, the food was not of the best quality (-). For example, the mash was made from potato flakes, with no milk or butter, fried potatoes were frozen. And it was expensive (-)In contrast, vis-a-vis, at Carol Gastro Bierhus the food is better (+) (clearly wrote fresh potatoes) and is even cheaper (+). Good service, fast (+), polite waiters (+) and pleasant view (+).They open at 10 in the morning and have brunch until 12 (+), after which you can eat whatever you want (including soups and borsch) all day (+). In the evening, the meal ends at 10 pm.Carol restaurant is across the road from the fountain with bear at the top (which has not been running for a long time (-), on the right side of the former Economat restaurant, open on foot (at least +).

I have eaten here twice and on both occasions the food was a real treat.The deep fried chicken with polenta and garlic sauce really worth a try.There is a very nice terrace and the service (a lady waitress) was more than pleasant.

It'a a revisit but a tasty one. The place really looks fantastic and the food, wow the food. I had the polenta with cheess and bacon and Plescoi saussages, all oven baked. It was a delicious dish. My girlfriend had the polenta with Burduf cheese and i had a taste and also fantastic. We came with a friend that had a burger and the way it was presnted was so nice and she said it also tasted very good. A big bravo!Dear Andrei,Wow, thank you for your awesome review! In fact a very good cantine. Food is 7/10. If you need food only, it is a good placeBut the rest, meaning restaurant experience, it is thousand miles away.First, it is kind o place when all good placed tables are reserved by default. Maybe the someone important may come and they need to be prepared.Second, is the wine serving.The have by glass only demi dry and demi sweet wine.That means no decent wine. The are not open any bottles because the waitress said, are too expensive, and people not paying.Checking the wine list, we find out that she was right 300-400% over the store price of a bottle. This could be normal in a posh restaurant, not in a taverna.That ruined my appetite. Sour face of waitress helped as well.So, if you are hungry, donât care where you sit and enjoy sweet wine, or not drink at all, it is a good place.

Today i just stoped by Sinaia and looking for a place to take my lunch. Looked for a restaurant on tripadvisor and picked âforest restaurantâ. Lavinia was the waiter taking care of my table. Her suggestions were excellent: chefâs soup and mango pancakes. Donât miss the pancakes

Went with my wife for a coffee and we discovered a small heaven. The Administrators did an extraordinary job by arranging the garden with statues. Fishes in the pounds are magnificent. Fantastic view, if you have nice weather. We had a sunny day and clear blue sky. Nice personnel. Quite busy on Sunday.

awsome food, verry rich breakfast ,and lots of choises for for desert.we couldn't find a better place to eat in Sinaia.Especialy loved the small potatoes in cake shape.In the evening you have a choise of "all you can eat" for 50 ron/person.
