Indoor and outdoor seating. Found street parking. Tuesday offered lunch menu. We only speak English so guessed on menu. (And surprised) Rotisserie was beef/veg kabobs and club sandwich was ham, cheese, avocado, fried runny egg with lots of mustard. Each served with salad or soup. We chose soup explained as bouillon. Seemed maybe chicken broth? But loaded in butter flavor including served with floating butter. (Liked the noodle dumpling & fresh parsley in soup)

I have been in this Restaurant several times and everytime is great. The Cordon bleu is so delicious. During the summer is the perfect Location becuase after spending all day in the river you can finish your day with a lovely dinner.

Gennersbrunnerhof is one of my old favorite country restaurants in Schaffhausen. Set a little outside the city in the most gorgeous country setting it's great in summer or winter. The winter option inside the wood paneled room with a huge tiled oven for heat is stunning and you feel the countryside in the atmosphere. The food is fabulously prepared by owner Stefan Gauss in the true Country kitchen style with big portions and delicious flavours. Try the liver and rösti it's out of this world!!In summer, lunch is served under the big trees in the Garden. Great service, and excellent value for money.

Incredible food, wine, atmosphere and service at this little cozzy restaurant in the center of Neuhausen, just getting inside with the warm welcoming of owners Evelyne and Stefan you know you are in the right place to taste a great dinner pair with a great local wine, I always asked Evelyne for advise on what to eat that night and she always get it right, her husband Stefan is a great chef, use local ingredients and always put his personal touch in his creations, you will love it, guarantee, alls the reviews I have read about it including this one are just short of the experience, SUPERB!!!

The view and location are obviously the key reason for our visit but the food was very good as well, even though relatively expensive. But very much worth it because it is an amazing experience to sit and eat with the amazing views...

Called in on the off chance. Was on my own and wanted a quick meal. Although they were fully booked for the evening, they fitted me in as I knew I had to leave promptly.It is Spargel-Zeit so I had a fish dish with generous portion of asparagus, lovely fresh fish.Friendly,efficient service

Good service but average food - we had business dinner in Sommerlust and definitely enjoyed the atmosphere and the excellent service. Food was however only average and behind expectations - not one of my favorite restaurants however competition is really very strong in Schaffhausen .

We had a delicious 9 course meal here. The presentation of the food was a delight for the eyes, the tastes amazing. A very good selection of wines are available. The restaurant is small with two dining areas, it has a cosy historical feel to it. The acoustics in the restaurant are very good, you can have a private conversation easily without hearing or being overheard by diners at other tables. The service is friendly and attentive. Fine dining at it's best in a casual, cosy atmosphere.
