Stopped in for lunch today and the food was great! Authentic Cuban food and drink. Brisket Picadillo and Chicken Mojoto we’re both very good. Service was friendly and prompt. We always prefer local restaurants over big chains. Would definitely return when in the area again.

Along with the black beans it was a great meal. Fully stocked bar. Free parking. Patio seating if that’s your thing. Welcoming staff. Took me back to my old favorites in Ybor City.

Tassa Roti Shop

Lunch buffet was expensive close to $10 pp. 3 chicken items,3 veg,3 starches,no desserts and roti. Food was fresh and authentic. Caribbean food is authentic.Variety wasnt much and price a little high, thats why I gave a 4 star instead of 5 stars. Parking is limited behind the restaurant. Found out that chicken breasts gets dry during cooking and heating, that's why in the curry or stew or jerk they don't serve at all. That's how Caribbean locals eat their chicken with bones and not how Americans are used to chicken breasts with little bones.

Shares a kitchen and bathroom with Tin Lizzies. Entrance on south side of building but you can cut through from Tin Lizzies. Visited the first time in November last year with friends. Went back about a month ago.Good food and service. Cozy. Sat in booth in back both times.Prices reasonable and good change from some of the redundant choices in area.
