Discover Restaurants offering the best Canadian food in Wasaga Beach, Ontario, Canada. Home to the longest freshwater beach in the world, Wasaga Beach is a summer tourist destination located just two hours north of Toronto. The white sandy beach stretches more than 14 kilometers (8.7 miles) on Nottawasaga Bay and welcomes more than 2 million visitors every summer. Because of its size, the beach is divided into six smaller beaches, so if you would like to steer clear of tourists and crowds who flock to Beach 1 and 2, make your way to Beaches 4 or 5 for a more private and quiet afternoon. Wasaga Beach is also home to many recreational trails and the Nottawasaga River is good for game fishing, canoeing and boating.

This is my go to place for breakfast in Wasaga Beach. And the thick slabs of peameal back bacon (something of an Ontario specialty) and eggs is my go to breakfast. My wife had french toast with fruit salad which she enjoyed. An option to pay for real maple syrup instead of liquid sugar would have made that dish perfect.Amazing to hear! We do offer Pure Maple Syrup as an add-on with a charge of $2.99. Hope to see you again soon!

It was suggested to me to order the Vegetarian Special to save some $$. Having never tried Toppers Pizza I agreed. It was outstanding. You know you ordered great pizza when you wake up wanting more pizza in the middle of the night.

We decided to try The Iron Skillet on our way home yesterday. We went in with trepidation and left excited to return. The place is welcoming, clean as a whistle, comfortable and bright. They have theme days featuring special menus and we were there on Mexican Monday. Neither my husband nor myself are big fans of the usual fare that passes as Mexican drowned in cheese but we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of options provided. I choose the Mexican Pasta and, as I travel on my stomach, was prepared for disappointment. No way! It was finger'licking good. My husband choose the Pulled Pork Enchilada option and said he really enjoyed it as well. The portions were good-size and well-priced, the plate was attractively presented and the taste was delicious. The service was perfectly friendly, welcoming and prompt. The owner, Tony, even came over to introduce himself and to see if we were enjoying our food. The Iron Skillet has been on the TV show "You Gotta Eat Here" and now we know why. We shall return to sample more of Tony's culinary creations. They also have a restaurant by the same name in Collingwood.

All we can say is WOW. Second visit for us but this time we decided to try the Surf and Turf. It was absolutely incredible. We started with the Fresh Ousters on the 1/2 shell and they were so fresh. The Steak was perfectly prepared and exactly as we had requested. The Lobster tail was very large and really plump and succulent. I definitely Must Try is the Tempura which comes with Rosemary. If you have never has Tempura Rosemary you haven't lived!. We finished off the experience with Creme Brule which was you can expect was delicious. Bob (Owner) visited us during the meal to ensure that we were completely satiated. The waiter we had attended the table very well, We were never short of anything Next visit to Wasaga will certainly include a return to Catch 22

My husband and I loved the space - they have done a great job with it - unfortunately though the food was disappointing. It was fine - but there was room for improvement. We both ordered steak and both of our steaks were over cooked - we ordered medium - mine was medium-well verging on well-done and my husbands was very close to well done as well. The rest of my food was warm, not hot and under-seasoned. For the prices they charge I expect a higher quality of food - for the $130 (and that was just for 2 entrees) we spent it was a let-down. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We pride ourselves on listening to our guests and have addressed this with our team. It's pleasing to hear that you enjoyed the restaurant itself and its décor. I am sorry though that we let you down though when it came to your meals, please never hessite to bring these issues up when you are here. We will always do our best to make sure we fix the problem and make sure your experience is a great one! We hope you'll visit again soon and allow us to exceed your expectations.
