I hadn't had fish and chips so tried them here. They were good and filling. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. My friend had the chowder which was good also.

Sandeannie's Bakery and Tea Room

Sandeannie's is a feeling of home as you walk through the door and experience the subtle smells of home baking. You just want to relax with a friend and enjoy a breakfast or something from our lunch menu or maybe just a little something sweet.

I found this on Trip Advisor and we stumbled upon it on our way out of Port Hood after touring The Cabot Trail. Perfect. Hot, well-made tea, friendly service and the best carrot cake ever. Breads and pastries all fresh and yummy. We will go back for breakfast on our next visit. Be sure to stop by when in the area.

Entering to an empty restaurant at 6:30 PM on a beautiful mid July evening should have been our first clue. My husband, who has barely ever met a burger he hasn’t loved, ranked this 3-ounce burger the world’s worst. My BLT had maybe one bacon strip and our shared fries were under-cooked. We also had to ask for napkins and silverware. Need I say more? Again ma'am, I am very sorry that you did not enjoy your meal. I wish you would have said something at the time so we could have dealt with the issues in person. And again I wish you and your husband have a great day!
