I hadn't been here in over 20 years. Still the same great place. This was the original up north breakfast place before there were breakfast places.The country bread and maples syrup were amazing as what the other items you would expect to be great.I will be back!!!!

Breakfast all day long and lunch, room for kids, 40 differents tea or tisanes, beers, all kind of coffee you like, you will love the ambiance and our wonderful terrasse in center of the town of Val-David See you soon!!!

We had French onion soup, the Cesar chicken panini and wild mushroom soup and the setting is cozy boho, staff is friendly and helpful and everything was tasty and reasonably priced.

I really like this place, the food has great variety and is not expensive. Today I tried a veggie wrap and it was light and lovely....the wrap itself was interesting, with grains and toasted perfectly. In the past I have tried the Gazpacho and a grilled cheese, both of which were fresh, with exciting flavour combos. Please take the time to try this place....I am not a coffee drinker, but my friend said the coffee was great:)

my female friend wanted to treat me for my Birthday but all places in the village were to noisy for my own taste..i needed a brake..and something else i am not crazy about ..many place in val David do not offer budget friendly price like la chapdelaine. , a few are over price pretending to be cool. i could not stand any of the noisy places , loaded with people and having to wait to be serve. so when i step in..that lovely quiet and warm cafe..we had a nice meal , they have art supplies too.I just discover that we are on Trip advisor and saw your review. We are glad that you enjoy your time in our café, thank you and we hope to see you again...

It's an odd location to find a good independent coffee shop, but Couleur Cafe is worth finding.Friendly service, a good choice of coffees and other drinks and home made cakes await you. The atmosphere is good, sitting surrounded by coffee sacks and with a roaster in the corner.
