We had tea here while our grandson had lunch. We sat in the sun outside and he sat in one of the high hairs provided. The courtyard is absolutely delightful. It's part of the original stable complex. A point to note is that there were plants being sold which seemed very good value. The pots of herbs in particular were healthy and I thought cheap.

Returned for dinner on a Saturday evening. Great, friendly service and delicious imaginative food (washed down with very acceptable wines!). Excellent value. We are very lucky to have this gem of a cafe/restaurant in Bookham and it deserves to be successful. We will be back!Hi, wow, thank you so so much for your amazing review! Annare is a Cafe Deli based in East Horsley. We are a small family-run business with a homely atmosphere. Our customers here are treated like guests in our home, and as such the quality is the best we can make it. Home cooked Italian dishes and desserts,
I wanted good coffee and homemade cake and I wasnât disappointed. The carrot cupcake was so good that I took one to go with me as well. Coffee was great! I ordered a take-home dinner of veggie lasagne and side salad and it was heated for me to go. Absolutely delicious! I topped it off with a little tub of home made Choc fudge gelato and felt very spoilt indeed. 11/10

The lunch itself was fine but the staff are unsmiling and seem stressed. We have eaten here several times and the staff are always the same - unsmiling and unwelcoming. I dont think we will eat there again. A large part of the restaurant has been taken up with gifts and therefore reducing the amount of seating. Also be aware that they print the whole of your credit/debit card number on the till receipt! This shouldn't happen.

Cafe/restaurant in gorgeous, tucked away location off Guildford high street. Serving fresh and delicious home cooked food with generous portions. Inside and outside seating.
Just a fleeting visit - our first one to the Gallery Café - and we loved the location and the ambiance. A sunny, secluded courtyard very well appointed. Emma looked after us very well - thank you - and our coffee and cake were just what the doctor ordered. We'll definitely be back!Thank you very much! We look forward to seeing you again

A cafe / restaurant at the top of Newlands Corner with stunning views over the South Downs. All food made daily on the premises from high quality and where possible locally sourced ingredients.
Came here at 10.30am for brunch and were extremely lucky to get a table as all others were either full or reserved. Went for the Vegetarian Breakfast (2 poached eggs, halloumi, avocado, cooked tomato, baked beans, and toast). I asked to swap the mushroom for extra beans which they kindly let me do. It was very nice and filling and the eggs were cooked perfectly, but felt a bit pricey at £10 which seems quite a lot compared to other places. The cakes looked incredible - huge and beautifully decorated, so think we'll come back for tea and cake another time !There is a carpark, but it is not monitored so I think many people park here for a walk as its free and the Newlands Corner carpark opposite now charge, so it can get very busy and difficult to park.
