Been to the surf shack a number of times, meals are awesome and the team are great so welcoming. And our dog is welcome along with free treats. What more can we say....you need to try them yiuwont be disappointed.

A beautiful cafe in a lovely setting. Don't have to be a golf participant to eat here. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Food is fresh and fish is a delightful meal. Coffee I loved. Mum had a pot of tea. Salads were great. We also had my Mum's 75th Birthday here and the premises catered well for that with the other rooms opening up for private functions. They sent me menus straight away to peruse over. Maybe could be slightly more affordable but food was lovely. The cafe prices are good lunchtime value.

If you happen to be at the bird gardens and you haven't brought your own picnic with you, then this cafe is perfectly adequate. In future, though, I would probably eat elsewhere before visiting the gardens as the choices were few and the food itself was very basic. Service was also a bit robotic and not particularly friendly. $20 got us a Devonshire tea (a tick for real clotted cream, a cross for the tea bag and hot water), a hot chocolate, and a simple panini without a side salad. They also sell waffles, sandwiches, muffins, cakes, hotdogs, etc. All items appear to be made 'fresh' in the kitchen after you have ordered as there was no food on display in the cabinet.

Been a few times for club meetingsand group afternoon tea. The owner has an unfortunate manner and I agree quite condescending and can be quite rude which didn't impress my guest on her first visit. She gives the impression that providing Gluten free and dairy free food is something she finds a bit of a nuisance when she is "busy". I am a Coeliac so have to eat Gluten free food. Most cafes provide at least one savoury and one sweet Gluten free option if not several. Won't be returning !!

Beautifully flavoured food. Good prices. Plenty of seating. For what I would say is quite an unassuming café from the outside, the food is simple but so beautifully flavoured. Busy little cafe. Toilets available. When we travel to KatiKati we always visit this café. Good value for money also.

Quick visit. Staff friendly and efficient. Some reviewers must have been somewhere else...Hot chocolate was actually hot and tasted of chocolate with creamy foam on top as it should be. Partner's latte also nice and hot.Prices very reasonable.

I had French toast with maple syrup ( the real stuff) and bacon. It was delish! Lots of food options on the counter all look homemade. Definitely worth popping in here. Will be back
